I have a friend with "bi-polar disorder" and when he's off his medication he doesn't act even a tenth this ridiculous. People disgust me, really.

If I'd had the means of recording my daily commutes in the 90s when I took the subway downtown daily, I'd have about 100 videos like this. Oh my god I used to love when stuff like this would happen. Talk about entertainment on a boring 35-40 minute train ride!! As long as it was a fairly crowded train I felt safe since there's be about 80 people crammed together watching the show... I hated when that shit was happening on off peak hours though. I would actually get off the train and either move cars or wait for the next one.

One morning there was a woman who was preaching to beat the band when I got on, and still on a steady roll when I left. For all I know she rode the line all day yelling about Jesus and hell, I dunno but I'll never forget her. You always knew a great story was coming when one of us would get to the office and go, "Ok, so I was on the train this morning..."

You know... that video honestly makes me kinda miss my train rides. :(

This makes me sick to see that punk-ass bitch getting in that poor old ladies face like that! 20 years ago, everyone on that train would have pulled her sorry ass away from that lady. These fucking dumbasses just sit there and watch! :x If I was there, I wouldn't have hit her, but that bitch would've been getting the fuck out of dodge. What a stupid bitch!!!

Bi-polar mental illness, differs for each person that suffers from it ; your friend may process stress differently than this girl does. By the way mental illness is nothing to joke about. One of the prime reasons people who suffer such ailments try to hide it and live in denial, this is a prime exsample of how people who don't understand mental illness treat and respond toward people afflicted with mental ailments. :(

It is sad, most bi-polar people want so much to feel normal and taking medication sometimes dly, bid, or qid is hard for them to accept because they want to believe that they are not ill, that poor girl was on the manic side and very dangerous to herself and others.

Refusing to take proper medications and self medicating with street drugs and alcohol is a primary problem we have with bi-polar people. They think those two things will make them feel normal when it only makes them more out of control and dangerous, that elderly lady did exactly the right thing she did not inflame the situation thus causing the girl to become even more agitated which could have easily moved from yelling , ranting and manic gestering to possible physical violence. We can thank the gov. and the deep cuts in mental health funding for inccidents like this, you would not believe the number of people with this type of illnesses that or roaming the american streets without proper medication and counseling or hospitalization; because we in the medical field can't get the funding to properly treat these people.

No! but I work with people like this girl everyday that's my job my friend to care for the people others can't or won't care for. I have held my license for many years and have cared for many mentally ill people, The one that hurt me the most was the case where the family locked the person in a dog pen with the dogs before that person was found and placed in the facility that I worked at. We grew to love that person our little star.

WOW....

I guess we don't know whether she is ill or strung out. She appears to be just as much
a danger to others as she may be to herself. I'm with you, Jimbo, I would have had a hard time allowing
her to verbally abuse the poor little old lady without doing something  ......where's security?

This is off topic; but you guys will understand where i'm coming from better than most people about assumptions, One day I stopped at a store for some cigarettes as i got out of my car a young white male approached me he had some cds he i supposed assumed that i wanted to buy some cds no problem there; but wait this is what he kept saying over and over " I have some R&B music you'd love just pop this in your cd player and tell me that you don't like it' I said "R&B is ok but no thank you!' I went into the store and came out again he tried to push his bootlegged R&B cds on me. I finally stopped before getting into my car and said "I, have nothing against R&B but I perfer Rock music more" he then said "I have Rock music too" I suspect that he assumed that because I was of certain skin tone I only listened to R&B music as if all people of a certain skin tone do and like the same things, I felt that he assumed that because of what he saw and not who he saw.Needless to say I bought none of his cds every person of color has individual likes and dislikes of their own and behavior patterns of their own just like everyone else. Maybe you can understand that statements lumping all people of a certain race in one box because of the actions of one tends to be upsetting to other people of that race. :)

President Charley?

This must be on the Bay Area BART. I few years ago, I tried to save a little cash by flying into Oakland instead of SF and take the BART into SF while enroute to Hawaii. Dumbest move EVER. We (my 70 year old parents, my wife and I) get to sit near a drunken passed-out homie wearing a winter hat in July with a fricken BICYCLE laying on top of him. This moron ends up puking on himself AND a non-English speaking Asian lady sitting next to him (Kinda funny though, as her hands were flailing in the air while running away in disgust).

Oakland...now there's a city that should be razed.

Her mom said that the girl stopped taking her medicaton because she didn't want to believe she was Bipolar. Her family knew the old lady and her family. The old lady didn't go on the news because she didn't want to embarass the girl any further. And before anybody wants to inject race in to this, the pendejo filming the incident and posting the original on youtube was not a cracker. This subtitled version was downloaded from youtube and resubmitted by somebody else (who probably was white, judging by the commentary).
