Do you people not plug your cars in when it gets that cold?

Nobody even does that here! When I moved here, they laughed at me when I asked where all the little pole thingys with the plug-ins were in the parking lots here.

LOL, mines in my garage, but I still plug it in when it dips to around -28 to -30 or more just in case......like yesterday (and that's without windchill, w/windchill it was -37). A friend told me I don't have to. He said no windchill in the garage, so should be ok. But the last thing I need is to not have my car start when I need to pick my daughter up in this bitterass cold.
Rhi, you guys must not have block heaters in your cars, it's pretty much standard in Canada.
