I never had the chance to meet Steve Perry
but thanks to the internet there are bloggers out there who have, and I can live vicariously, can't I?

"And just had to say it here because I never meet celebrities. I work at Disneyland and usually only see them while I'm working and cannot talk to them while I'm working. But today I went with friends to get on Peter Pan and we went through the exit because I was in a wheelchair (still healing from ankle surgery) and we saw Steve Perry with a guide and his family. He commented on my toes in my ankle brace calling them M&Ms toes (they're all different colors) and he was really funny. We asked the guide while he was on the ride if we could get autographs. She said ok if we didn't take pictures. We said sure no problem and so with many apologies and thank yous we got autographs (I had my shoe signed and thus need new shoes now). He has dubbed me "M&Ms girl" and said it was cool I broke my foot playing soccer. He seems like the coolest guy to sit down and have coffee with. I felt bad asking for an autograph but I've loved Journey since I was born and he's freakin Steve Perry, I spent many nights falling asleep to his voice.
PS if you don't know who Steve Perry is I am sad for you"
There's another cool story by a blogger on the East Coast who wrote about Steve coming into her 80's retro shop and buying bunches of Journey t-shirts, and coming back to chat....Cute story. I can't find it at the moment, but I'm looking......
