Ravens might be favored, but by the looks at it, deep down, they are the one critics are picking. Only thing you hear is how you can't beat a team 3 times in a season (which happened 11 times the past 18 I believe.) The Ravens BYE week was in September, and this is their 18th straight game. Like Cowher said in the studio, they can't live on Adrenalin forever, and with The Steelers losing as many Championship games as they did at home the past years, I don't see them losing this game. Flacco might of had a good season, but January Football in Pittsburgh isn't Delaware anymore.

Neither is January football in Nashville, but Flacco is the one who did not throw a pick, completed three clutch passes, and led the game-winning drive. Nothing fazes Joe Cool.

Steelers are favored by 6, BTW.

That's what I meant, I just have Rat-bird on the brain. :P What about when Joe-Cool (how original) didn't get the play off in time.. which won them the game.

Pitt had an overtime win....(luck of the coin toss), and a Motherfucking gift of a call on the touchdown that wasn't. Feet in, ball out. Any fool could see the ball didn't cross the plane.....TWO lucky wins. TWO.

The initial call on the field was in fact ruled short of the endzone. The replay had to come from upstairs and a booth review to challenge the play, which at that time the people upstairs saw something that needed to be reviewed. After several minutes, they in fact over-ruled the call and announced it a Touchdown. You think they would of over-turned it if they were certain the ball didn't touch the plane? I don't think so.

I've never read a more ignorant post regarding a football game. Before you start your ramblings and complete imbecile tirades, check the facts. Baltimore indeed won the coin toss in the first game that went into overtime, and elected to receive. On that first drive of OT, Lawrence Timmons sacked Flacco deep in his zone, and they punted to Pitt. We then drove down to score the game winning field goal. Luck of the coin toss my ass. Jesus fuckin' Christ.

Oh yeah, one other thing, the ball DOESN'T have to CROSS the white line in order for it to be ruled a touchdown. It simply has to BREAK IT, and by looking at replays, that's exactly what it did. I like you Malone, but you're the one that's the fool.

We BEAT Baltimore TWICE. TWICE!

My bad on the coin toss. I apologize....but as far as the TD, semantics, my friend, break/cross....whatever. I said cross the PLANE. Same as break the PLANE....The ball did not break the plane. I challenge ANYONE on this board(and be serious) to say otherwise. You will not get ONE other person who thinks that was a legit call....

It's working on mine. We can go back and forth on articles all day. Some say it wasn't, some say it was. It's their job. The video speaks for itself.

The link to your's broke. Even with that image of the broken video, that is after the fact that the ball broke the plain and you see his momentum actually carry him out and then he gets hit when he is ready to hit the ground.

I don't have a dog in the fight but I remember watching the game and thinking "That's a touchdown." I thought the replay was pretty clear.

But here's the rub.....

The referees took it to instant replay, and these were his exact words:

"After reviewing the play, the receiver had 2 feet down in the end zone, with possession of the ball. We have a touchdown."

Sound like the criteria for a TD to you? Perhaps on the endlines, but not on the GOAL LINE.....

In a nut-shell what he was saying is that everything that was needed to score on that certain play, in fact did meet the credentials. It was a touchdown.

It was not a TD because a receiver does not have possession of the ball the split second it hits his fingers, which is the only time the ball was breaking the plane of the goal line. By the time he establishes possession he is laying on the ground with the ball at the 6-inch line. It should have been 4th and goal.

Both JFB and I did.

I pick em Sunday too.

It's so hard to beat the same team 3 times in one year.

I hope that murderer Ray Lewis hits Big Ben so fucking hard he is seeing crossdressing cheerleaders. Nothing against Ben, he is a fine guy, but I despise Pittsburgh; no offence Stu and YoungJrnyfan.

As good as Pitt's O line is, Baltimore has a ferocious D. They get after it like a bunch of hyenas on crack.

"But the raven, sitting lonely on that placid bust, spoke only
That one word, as if his soul in that one word he did outpour.
Nothing further then he uttered; not a feather then he fluttered;
Till I scarcely more than muttered, "Other friends have flown before;
On the morrow he will leave me, as my hopes have flown before."
Then the bird said, "Nevermore.""
