I think he said that HE has the quilt on his BED!! I think the interview might have been one of the interviews on Fan Asylum.
I'll look for it again.
As a former Deputy District Attorney, I can tell you that you aren't stalking unless it is REPEATED AND UNWANTED and Steve Perry is in FEAR
for his life or that of an immediate family member. You must have all the elements of the crime. But if you get caught stalking once and you
do it again, on the same person, in Oregon you get 18 months in prison, even with no prior criminal record. I;m sure the penalty in California is double that....
There must be some sort of contact, not just trying to contact. Repeated trespassing on private property comes to mind as contact as well.
So looners, unless you are on his doorstep and he comes out and says, "get out of here" and you show up again on the doorstep, you aren't stalking.
One time on the doorstep you might get away with. Two times, you will be looking at the prison walls............
OMG are you seriously encouraging people to "creep" up as close to that line of the law that they can without crossing it?
No, I think what I was doing was discouraging them, stating that stalking is a serious offense that will land you in prison.........
I prosecuted MANY stalking cases and I wanted Loons to understand what it truly is and to let them know what they shouldn't be doing.
We have all kinds of movie stars in my town. Kirsti Alley, Steve Miller, Patrick Duffy, use to have Ginger Rogers and Jack Elam., but they are deceased as you know.
There are more, Rob Lowe owns about 2000 acres in Brookings. There are many more buying homes here all the time. I don't think loons who
want to learn more about Steve Perry on this forum are crossing any lines. Posting pictures of his family however, is probably something that should be discouraged here.
Certainly showing up at his doorstep would not be met with his loving arms, and I want it perfectly clear that I was not endorsing such a move.
