I still love Steve the best. But those days are sadly done. But the concert was fun, was it the same, no, but it was fun! I still enjoyed it. And when Steve does an album, and we all know the Madsplash fairy has waived his magic wand so it must be so! , I will go see him, and love every song. That would be like hating all the Beatles. I always hear about Ritchie Blackmore that he was so narcisistic person, and that he was this and the other..well he is a human, a genius, and i guess artist can show a special behavior sometimes, but never change my mind about his work in music, he is an awesome guitar player, and now he is with his personal project wich i'm not really interested so i don't listen..but i'll never want for him he quit making music whatever this might be, and yes i prefer him in rainbow or deep purple, but well is my option keep buying his new music or not.
as for Journey..with all the new bands around and after all this time this band still remain, and still creates, hope they can come out with new music material and better records with Pineda, is all i care.
