Pffft. Those are the best kind.
Never said they weren't, and not just for the concertgoer.
Heisenberg wasn't just right, he was 100% right: none of Journey's current bandmembers are golems.
Communal, adrenal distortion is the whole fucking point to concertgoing, otherwise we'd just
play CD's or DVD's for far less money spent.
So... let me try again
Uplifting perceptional distortion being the whole point to concertgoing, how can ANY concertgoer's review
escape the stay-at-homes' accusations of being... well, distorted? How can the stay-at-homes' nitpicking technical analyses
of every performance flub escape the giddy fans' accusations of being distorted by the LACK of live observation?
Remember, the Led Zep tribute gig at the O2 was awesome to concertgoers, but many of those checking it out on YouTube clips
thought it was unfit for committing to DVD.
As I said (what Monimus said): All is
opinion.
My opinion on the Manila concert is that I wouldn't mind shelling out even more cash if Journey ever comes back,
and I just don't spend twice on anything that leaves me unhappy or unsatisfied.
Some people can get away with saying much more, in detailed "reviews", without having crazy shit thrown at them
by the dimwitted and the weak of comprehension. I'm saying I haven't been so lucky so far, and I find that it's chiefly
a matter of my being Filipino and Arnel being a Filipino.
Cheers,
wech.
PS: Kudos to Rip for his responses under media fire, LOL.
