I had to nail it before someone else did.

It's all good as long as Steve is happy & he does seem happy!
BTW; Just thinking: Love to see Steve collaberate with Jeff Scott Soto...
That would really get my attention ~Meow~

Mine too!Might be a little too much soul for Debster to handle though, barely made it through Martin and Soto sharing vocals.

True.
Honestly, not to emulate SJ here, but the only reason I can think of for him to not release the material he's been working on is insecurity. I won't dispute whether or not the man can still sing, but I think we can all agree that it won't be as technically astounding nor as easy as it used to be. I have no doubt that his voice is still pleasant and full of that emotive quality, but I do believe Perry operates under the mindset that if he can't do it like the '70s, he can't do it at all.
It's a pity.

Yes, I agree.

Um, I don't think the return of a 60-year old former pop band singer (which is how most music fans view him and Journey) would generate much buzz, other than among hardcore Journey fans and loons. I would be one of the first ones to buy it, but it would probably sell a lot less than Revelation did. Especially since Perry could never get a Wal-Mart deal like that.

And I have the solution to that....DUETS. Steve sings a CD of duets...possibly even with some of the recent AI winners. You want to sell CDs, that's what ya gotta do. Carrie Underwood, David Cook, maybe an R&B with Jordin Sparks, Daughtry.....and then a few with some of his peers; Ann Wilson, Stevie Nicks, Sass Jordan, Sir Paul, Sir Elton, Phil Collins, Billy Joel...etc.....even I'D buy that.....
