To get to what I want to say...
Obviously, things suck right now and we were aware they were going downhill, as far as the "W's" of the situation -- I don't want to hear about it. The thing is, "Do you really think that anyone could be elected in office and undo everything in 24 hrs?" This shit takes time and it's something that has to be accepted whether you like it or not.
Now for those that seem to have all of the answers on what's going on, "Why the hell aren't you in office fixing all of these problems instead of posting on a forum with me bitching about it?"
As far as job loss goes, my mom got laid off from her second to last job and was out of work for 6 months, then her last job she was at for 3 months and has been laid off now for 4 -- yet she hasn't pissed and moaned about it and has actually taken initiative to network with everybody she knows just to keep her name out there for possible job opportunities -- just something to consider.

You may not have a doctorate in economics, but you have old fashioned horse sense, son.
You're right on.
Obama cannot be expected to turn things around just yet. Nor should he be.
Anyone who claims otherwise is trying to be a contrarian jerkoff.

Obama is just trying to clean up Dumbya's mess. I hope he can do it.

Um, they already do. The chinese government holds a significant amount of our national debt...in part, because they want peg their juan against the dollar to keep their exports wed to our economy.

Wrong, wrong, and wrong. He's not a Muslim, but he is black. He has already addressed more critical issues in 60 days than W. did in 8 years (1020 days of which were spent on vacation, I might add).

Well said , bro.
Amazing that a young person like you can fathem more about politics and optimism than most "oldies" around here. If half the people your age would have the same outlook and intelligence, then I'd see a bright future ahead of us.Good for you.
Frank ,
Sorry about your job. You're entitled to your runt given the circumstances. Expecting Obama to change everything in 2 months is a bit far fetched.Specially since I know you're a smart guy.
