I'm sure I'll come out smelling like SOMETHING!I'm as confident as ever. Staying positive.
This board is much more active when you're around, Deano. No BS kinda guy. People know where they stand with you.
If someone babbles too much garbage, you come in and shut them down. Great stuff.
At this exact time, Jubilee, behshad, gideon, Deacon, BJG, and Airhead are all PM ing back and forth, huddling up to destroy us. It's so pathetic.
They will never win MS, never.
Leave me out of that one, man. Just because I receive the PMs, does not mean I return the favor and get in on the drama. I do not.
I may reply to people out of courtesy, but I ignore whatever part of their PM is bitching about things.
But Dean, even if Perry does release an album, explain how and why Madsplash gets any kind of credit? Come out smelling like a rose why? He hasn't done anything but run his mouth.
And I'm not arguing with you, Dean, I'm honestly asking.
The guy says he knows something. Everyone including me at first, jumped his shit. I changed my POV, but you along with everyone else continues to pile in Splash.
My complaint wasn't that he didn't know something or that he was wrong. My point all along was the way he comes across, not what he's saying. He didn't seem to get why people jumped on him and I (and a lot of others) explained exactly why, and that brought out even more of a bad attitude. That's all.

Look, if Splash runs his mouth, he better produce some results. He gave a timeline, which seems reasonable, and if the news bears him out, he will have cashed the check that his big mouth wrote. That is calling your shot, hence the guy will get some instant cred. The same thing happened to me in my early years here. I made some claims, some thought very outlandish, and they proved to be correct. Of course I didn't hit on all my claims, but I hit on a high pct of them. If Splash can be proven right, then he should be given mad props. It won't be Splash any more, but maybe Wave. Madwave, because he is going to flood this board with smack, and I for one want to see it.

Bottom line, people don't like your swagger, delivery, attitude, so what. The same folks who criticize you have brought absolutely nothing to the table. They are like the fans, and the people who do bring information here are the players. The fans always criticize moves by the players. Trust me, I know this routine. I have learned one important lesson in my time here at MR. You can't please everyone. I had that mindset- the mindset where I wanted to be everybody's friend, but it's impossible. There are two many different factions to please them all. Brush off the malcontents like Airheadoo, and others. Fuck 'em.
I never have any new info for the folks here and I just laugh at the people who don't believe Dean...it is quite hilarious..
I hope and pray for the day that MS can I say I told yo so!!!!!!!!!!! I want 5 copies of the new CD!

Each month they have a section where they list about 20 drummers latest albums and concerts. Studio ace Russ Miller's latest projects are mentioned including the fact that he has just completed Steve Perry's new album. Pretty interesting. What was also cool is my neighbor across the street was in that section last month- he drums for latin star Gloria Trevi.

Why are you posting this in the Humperdink forum?

I wouldn't think it out of line to give him kudos for spreading some hope if his info bears out.

Well after all it is Englebert Humperdink.

Why would Englebert want to do a duet with Perry? Perry is clearly not even in Englebert's class as far as emoting, range... and what not. Geez! You people!!
The ability to wear a safari suit?

We talked of diet & life.
He seems very happy & satisfied.
He is also in really good shape.
If he desires to put out an album
kudos to him
I do however feel he is satisfied with life & may not feel the need to dip his toes into the album waters but if he does I wish him the best.
I think he knows he has nothing to prove
anything he does is because he truly wants to do it...
My warmest wishes go out to that man of song who has brought untold joy to all of our lives.

What a beautiful sweet post, and thank you so very much for writing about how well SP is doing. There are so many rumors
and so many untruths out there, that an eye witness account of a healthy happy SP brings tears to my eyes. Thank you so so much and bless you for your sweet words.

Hey Cheekymonkey, good to see you are still hangin out.. Haven't seen you for a long while on MR. I was just reading through
this thread and wanted to add my appreciation for Madsplash for bringing his information that he got from his sister, who got it from her friend (and I assume that friend is close enough to either Perry
or someone working for or with Perry) that it is reliable information. Otherwise, Madsplash would not be so damn determined that he is right. He must have the goods and is excited about the information
he has. Now we have Deano posting here shoring up Madsplash's prediction. You people just completely missed that didn't you? There are no many non-believers on here, waiting so long for the new Perry CD that when all the signs are pointing to it being ready for release, you all turn your heads in disbelief. I've seen enough that SOMETHIN' IS A COMIN out of SMFP.
