Well, Perry's never made any bones about the fact that Sam Cooke was indeed one of his early influences. Listening to this clip it's very clear that Perry learned his lesson well....

Ditto that. I have just about worn those CDs out. There are some rare gems in that box set. A must for Sam fans.
