My point exactly. It was forgotten because it happened a long time ago; not because Stern is bashing SP and praising AP.

Amazing huh, Stern was talking about an incident that happened in 1980. I thought a more inflammatory incident, even it was in 1992 wouldn't be that easy to forget.

You're right though, my mind does work in mysterious ways doesn't it?

"Cheaters", "Dogeaters", I can see where people might get pissed off, hearing those sentiments expressed openly on the radio.

But it did happen over 10 years ago so no harm , no foul, right?

Well, its been a well known fact for years that radios and TVs have 'off' buttons and also a well known fact that there are other channel and program options. This is not to say that what was said is either right or wrong... but this country does grant the right to say it.

Obviously his kind of show isn't going to be for everyone so if those who are offended by it simply don't listen, they wouldn't hear things that will upset them.

I'm really kind of tired of all the sensativity to everything. No one can say ANYthing anymore without someone crying about it. I mean really, we all have lives and problems and joys and whatnot... and we let some guy or girl on the radio piss us off with a comment? I say, if you don't like it, turn it off, don't tune back in, and go sniff a flower, lest a bus come and run thou over and leave your last thoughts on Earth to be annoyance at some silly comment by a total stranger.

[/off soapbox] :D

It was more than one comment, It was a whole speel about a certain group of people. Of course you can change the channel and I don't think suing a person for money over what they say is going to solve anything.
My point was that he was more interested in dogging on SP, and could not really give a shit about AP and the band, so any apparent praise would mostly likely be feigned.

Fuck Howard Stern. The guy has no talent at all. I'm sure SP wouldn't even validate this useless terd with a response.
What a joke Stern is.

As Bette Midler told George Costanza, "Get some talent, then you can mouth off".

And you know just what SP would do? I see you're busy coming to his defense in many threads today and speaking for him.

How's this... pony up some proof of all the b.s. you've been spouting, "then you can mouth off."
Until then, keep it to yourself because, as Andrew said, "90%" are sick of it.

Don't KNOW what he would do. Just a guess.

Proof of what? The fact is that I'll be proven right or wrong.

And are you TELLING me exactly what to do? I don't think that's your place, is it? If you think it is, PM and we can discuss it further.

Ummm... kind of the way you like to TELL everyone who disagrees with you not to reply and to avoid you? I really don't think it's your place to tell people when and where they should post and I don't think it's your place to walk around here speaking for Perry and spouting all these alleged "facts" the way you do, but you continue to do so anyway.

You've been a self-appointed bullhorn around here for months ... is that your place? Clearly you believe it is, so I'll retract the question. But don't even start walking around here telling other people what "their place" is because you are the biggest offender of that.

Do I claim to have? No. I don't speculate on SP's personality, just because I know what he's been doing in the studio.

What's your point? To call someone a name is silly if you don't know them personally.

I've only said to avoid me after someone has attacked me, not just because they disagree with me.
I'm not speaking for SP, that's silly.

The only thing I'll say is that it sure the hell isn't YOUR place to tell me what to do. I still just really don't understand why you even continue to acknowledge all my posts if you disagree with everything I say?

Funny stuff.

No oops. My comment is judging his lack of talent. I don't know him personally and don't want to. Based on his work, he's a no talent terd. Very simple. I stated that.

WRONG. You said to call someone a name that you don't know is silly. And then you went right ahead and did it (called Stern a turd). Don't try to back-pedal and double-talk out of this. You were just OWNED and the proof is right there in front of you. You are never wrong are you? Man up and admit defeat, it's OK you won't die.

WRONG. Look at my original post. I said Stern had no talent, that's why he's a turd. The person called SP a knob without saying anything about why.

Owned? OK. I'm wrong as much as anybody. When I am, I'll admit it.

Yeah it certainly reeks in here alright. Time for MS to change his shorts. If he can't admit that he's completely wrong here, I've officially lost respect for the poor dude. It takes a lot for me to lose respect for someone and debate them. And to back pedal and not take responsibility for a loss ranks up there. I really wish this board had an ignore feature. I'd wear the shit out of it.
