Knock on fuckin wood, but I never get the flu. I'm not sure I've ever even had the real flu - I've had the "stomach flu" (which, as I understand, is not influenza at all...) a few times, but I seem to always skate by with no flu. I know I haven't had real flu in the last 10 years, otherwise I'd remember...

I get my fair share of colds/strep/sinus infections, but never flu. Maybe I'm immune? Never gotten a flu shot either... And I've definitely been around people that have been sick with it during the highly contagious period. Maybe I'm just lucky.

You mean they shut down the other maroon? I don't think there was one single band in the parade this year. I'm sure your kids were as ticked as ours. I know they shut down the city schools today until the 18th :roll: We're waiting for our Super to get back with ROTC from FLA to see what we're doing.

My daughter is seriously pissed. She texted me and said "They have shut down 168 schools in Tarrant County, but mine is still open." :lol: She is really lucky if you ask me. If they close her school, it will only shorten her summer break.

I was on the phone with a client based out of Dallas this morning and he couldn't even go to pay his cell phone bill! Before they'll let him in to drop off his payment, he was supposed to jump through all sorts of hoops and clearances. Out-flipping-rageous.
