I enjoy it .. but .. come on!
Hell yeah. I am a Journey fan because of Arnel. I'm proud of it and always honest about it.
Kudos to Neal for hiring Arnel.
How old are you???? Am I correct in assuming that you never listened to Journey before AP?
I knew "Open Arms"

Didn't know the singer/band though ( that was then).
By the way, I am old and chubby...

...and deaf.
Yeah I was going to make that point too.....or a least suggest a good long listen to the Greatest Hits CD, but I guess if you are deaf it would not help would it

There are people who still don't know that there's a band called Journey to date

.... plus I listened to Survivor and Led Zep, Aerosmith and Scorpion at that time.
Now I am even more confused about you......if you listened to Survivor and The Scorpions....How did you miss Steve Perry with Journey....and say that you only like the band with AP????????????
It just does not make sense to me....but hey to each their own I guess!
I never knew Arnel, my relatives were raving about him and they were so stoked that an American band hired him. I checked him out on you tube and was amazed how well he covered my favorite songs and I followed him since then out of curiosity. I found myself watching his cover songs every night. In other words, I became an avid fan. Then I focused on Journey and started checking out their songs. I was like "wow that was good" hearing song after song. I didn't realized that they have so many great songs. And I feel in love with Neal Schon in the process.
In the past eras I personally like Edge of the Blade, Rubicon, One More, Separate Ways and Escape.
Other than Faithfully, I find the ballads from the Augerie years more appealing like, Knowing That You Love Me, Loved By You and All The Way.
