Been thinking about this all morning as it hits close to home.
Not something that is easy to deal with.
I still can't fathom & always leaves more questions than answers but his pain must have been very deep
that not even the light of his beloved Talisman on the horizon could not take him from what must have been a deepest darkness that he could not find a way out or a will to live.
So sad to leave family & friends behind with a deeper loss than can be imagined for yes there are no waking up from this nightmare.
No leave it til tomorrow & things will look brighter in the light of a brand new day.
I only hope he explored all the possibilities & his loved ones & the music community can understand that his plight was more that he could bear.
We all have to leave one way or another & it;s never easy when a loved one passes on but to leave in this manner leaves a deep hole.
Just glad he is no longer in what must have been an unbearable pain that he had to endure in this life & hopefully his spirit is still strong now that he has left the pains of his mind & body that he could not endure anymore.
He is free of his pain & I'm sure he asks forgiveness of all those who he has touched.
Let us remember him for that gentle sweet loving spirit that you could see radiate from him & now he is free again from the prison of pain that had taken hold of his body & mind.
It really is no different than dying from abusing drugs or from a poorly orchestrated life.
No different than stuffing your face with copious amounts of fatty animal products & having a heart attack or sitting on the couch downing a beer after beer with the only exercise of pushing buttons on a remote.
We all are responsible for our lives & how we take care of ourselves or choose not to take care of ourselves yet suicide has that forbidden stigma!
I only hope all that he has left try to understand & forgive & mourn the passing of a sweet gentle man who was given more poain in this life than he could endure.
Going to listen to some Talisman & enjoy all of the deep notes that this man has graced our world with & sending Jeff a special hug to help him along in this time of deep sorrow.
