I love Deen on some of the songs, like Patiently and Where Were You, but on some of them his voice is a little too thin - I don't really like his take on IBAWY, for instance.
Agreed, Ehwmatt, I love Deen on many songs and some his voice is a little too thin sounding. But I love, love him on Mother Father while playing the drums.
Really, you don't like Happy To Give? I really love that song.

Jana I am starting to think you like everything!!!!

You know me, Portland, the cheerleader for Journey music

-- oh, sorry, that's for Neal.

Almost everything. Dixie Highway I hate. One of the few songs I don't like Perry's voice on (it Mariah Carey grates) and don't like the song. Not bad for a whole lotta albums. Well, Generations CD I will pass on.

Now, even on some songs I'm not crazy about I would still call them good songs. Oh, I forgot that reggae song, too. I will pass on that one. Why did they put that on the Essential Journey cd and not Why Can't This Night Go On Forever?
