I remember going to see CSN at some kind of Frontier Park in Wyoming or some shit. Sat on bleachers. Fab Thunderbirds too. Is Division Street still gnarly?
Yea its at the VanAndel Its a great place. You probably are talking about Lamar Park in Wyoming Ive been to a few outdoor concerts there. They are trying to clean up Division Ave but its still the local Hooker hangout.

Cool. We liked GR. Had one of our 3 babies up there in '87. It was a quick 3 year stop during life and then back to Ohio.

Can you still lay down and roll over 28th street on a Sunday morning because everyone is at church and there is no traffic?

We used to joke about that for some reason.
Actually you can do that almost anytime now 28th street is pretty much a ghost town. They built a huge mall In Grandville and took all the business away from 28th street They even closed up the Movie Theater. Pretty sad.

G10? Why?!

Your wife could have gotten better optics and HD video with Panasonix LX3 for the same price.
(just my opinion)

Nevertheless, have fun!!!

Just found out my Sister and my Niece got VIP passes and front row tickets. I guess it pays to know someone in the radio business. My niece said she would wave at me from the front. Big Whoop.

That sucks, especially if they're not even big Journey fans and just got free tickets. Hopefully, not the case. Maybe your sis will switch off for a song or so and let you enjoy a closer view.

Wow. 28th was the place in '86. Everything was there. The Mall and East Beltway was just built. Grandville was a good ride west on what, 44th or 52nd back then. I don't remember. I know we loved going to Ada Park with the kids out 28th east.

Dang, it's been a long time since I've been back home. Is the Farrell's Ice Cream Parlor still open at least?

Wow. That's sad. We'd drive an hour just to eat there on special occasions. My hometown is between Battle Creek and Ionia on M66 so it was a bit of a drive. I actually don't remember the last time I was in GR - we moved to Chicago at the time when the popular bumper sticker was "Would the last person in Michigan please turn out the lights?". Sigh.
