I just watched quite a bit of reporting on the Acorn story about an hour ago on CNN.

what are they saying?

Turn the channel off of Fox once in awhile and you'll find out what others are saying. :P

They have been showing the videos and reporting the accusations.

i'm watching the view right now.

Last week, we saw some pretty disturbing activities revealed in the undercover footage from ACORN Housing’s Baltimore office. By any measure of conduct, the actions of ACORN’s employees should never have happened. It turns out the actions shouldn’t have happened for another, very simple, reason: ACORN can’t legally operate in the state of Maryland.

According to the following documents, ACORN, Inc.–the parent organization of all things ACORN–forfeited its corporate charter in Maryland in 2006. ACORN Housing forfeited its corporate charter in 2008. Any ACORN office in the state of Maryland is potentially operating illegally.

The Maryland Attorney General has made noise about prosecuting the intrepid journalists who undercovered the misdeeds of ACORN employees. Perhaps he should focus instead on how ACORN was able to operate without a license in his state.

i still can't believe those two were taken seriously! they both looked like they were going to a halloween party. haha. unbelievable.

I love how this is such a HUGE story on Fox, and not the other stations. It is a HUGE story and ACORN should be busted up big time. However, I also find it funny that when a republican is in deep doo doo, Fox runs with something entirely different. I would say MSNBC and Fox are clearly the worst...I hate all Fox anchors and am starting to despise Rachel Maddow. She gushes over Obama every show. if anyone could make her go straight, it's Obama. Olberman is far left too, although he does back up much of what he says. MSNBC is just as bad as Fox News and I never thought any news agency would approach Fox in that regard. CNN is pretty straight if you ask me. Anderson Cooper runs a tight ship and so does Blitzer.

Hell, PBS with McNeil /Lehrer News is the best.

I don't know Deano, Fox has been crucifying Wilson for the "Lie" comment, as well they should.

O'Reilly has been very critical of Republicans and took President Bush to task on many issues.

Sure they have a right lean to them, in comparision to anyone else that is.

I just don't understand the ignorance about Fox News......I mean, how can you be any fairer than to have David Axelrod come on after Obama gives a speech?

The "ignorance" I know about Fox "news" is that it was started by Rupert Murdoch who also owned the National Enquirer. It began as sensationalistic one sided " journalism". Have they toned it down somewhat on certain segments to try to appear more unbiased over time? Yes. But they haven't changed enough, by far. By the way, O'Reilly was a " reporter" for the National Enquirer.

Yeah ok. How about all the Bush, Cheney and Rush interviews by Hannity? Softball questions. A complete joke. Axlerod and Obama himself went on Fox. I have never seen a republican go on MSNBC. They know they will get their ass handed to them. They cannot handle "real" interviews, or more to the point, they don't want to be interviewed with real questions.

Oh and to further your question about not understanding the 'ignorance' of Fox news?

Oliver North- Convicted of Impeding Justice
Karl Rove- How he is not in prison is beyond me
Huckabee- Republican Governor
Dick Morris- Clinton and Dem hater

Howard had on Geraldo the other day. Rivera said he was the only non conservative there.

How soon until Palin gets on board?

Naw, no bias there at all, which is fine, but why go out and lie and call yourself "Fair and Balanced?" LOL, that's the funniest line I have ever heard.

But thats the beauty - O'Reilly has on the other side and they argue it out. Hannity isn't fair and balanced, but their NEWS NEWS is, and O'Reilly is.

Read back a few pages. You are the one who announced you were going on vacation, and promptly reappeared. Just taking notes is all.

And your point is what? That internet access is available everywhere now??? That I even have the net on my phone is your issue? No one was talking about internet access. :? Hey, if you want to really follow me and keep track of where I go you could obtain my address and follow on Google Earth and at least try to catch me on satellite if I happen to be outside when it pans by. How about getting my cell number? That way you could track me by that wherever I go as long as I have my cell phone with me. Better yet you could actually find my vehicle and put a tracking device on it. For real, why do you care if I'm on vacation or no longer on vacation or not and what does where I'm at have anything to do with the discussion?. What ..don't you have any life of your own to be concerned with?

Better than being a liar like Obama! Do you think Obama lied when he said, he won't support a healthcare plan if it raises the deficit by a single dime?????
