I just watched quite a bit of reporting on the Acorn story about an hour ago on CNN.

what are they saying?

Turn the channel off of Fox once in awhile and you'll find out what others are saying.

They have been showing the videos and reporting the accusations.

Last week, we saw some pretty disturbing activities revealed in the undercover footage from ACORN Housing’s Baltimore office. By any measure of conduct, the actions of ACORN’s employees should never have happened. It turns out the actions shouldn’t have happened for another, very simple, reason: ACORN can’t legally operate in the state of Maryland.

According to the following documents, ACORN, Inc.–the parent organization of all things ACORN–forfeited its corporate charter in Maryland in 2006. ACORN Housing forfeited its corporate charter in 2008. Any ACORN office in the state of Maryland is potentially operating illegally.

The Maryland Attorney General has made noise about prosecuting the intrepid journalists who undercovered the misdeeds of ACORN employees. Perhaps he should focus instead on how ACORN was able to operate without a license in his state.

However, I also find it funny that when a republican is in deep doo doo, Fox runs with something entirely different. I would say MSNBC and Fox are clearly the worst...I hate all Fox anchors and am starting to despise Rachel Maddow. She gushes over Obama every show. if anyone could make her go straight, it's Obama. Olberman is far left too, although he does back up much of what he says. MSNBC is just as bad as Fox News and I never thought any news agency would approach Fox in that regard. CNN is pretty straight if you ask me. Anderson Cooper runs a tight ship and so does Blitzer.

Hell, PBS with McNeil /Lehrer News is the best.

The "ignorance" I know about Fox "news" is that it was started by Rupert Murdoch who also owned the National Enquirer. It began as sensationalistic one sided " journalism". Have they toned it down somewhat on certain segments to try to appear more unbiased over time? Yes. But they haven't changed enough, by far. By the way, O'Reilly was a " reporter" for the National Enquirer.

They know they will get their ass handed to them. They cannot handle "real" interviews, or more to the point, they don't want to be interviewed with real questions.
