and this reminds me of why the magic is with the original line ups.....it's the history of the songs and with the band all together it makes the music so much more powerful in it's delievery as they have stuck it out together!!!!

They haven't been the same since. I blame These Days on him not being there. Damn Portland, I thought we had a reunion.

see, These Days might be my favorite Bon Jovi album. Different, for sure, but some real lyrical depth, and probably Jon's best vocals ever. Not sure I would want "These Days, Part 2", but I love it for what it is.

A few years ago, I finally started to like that album. I hated it at the time big time. Jovi was one of my favorite bands at the time and I felt betrayed by that album (mostly because I felt they soldout during that hard time for 80s music fans). But, I actually tried listening to it about a month ago (for some reason) and it didn't do it for me again. Average album. Maybe above average for a lot of bands, but for Jovi it was not good. My evidence is I don't think they've played (or rarely played) a song off of that album since that tour.

I believe all but one is an original member and he was fired fairly recently. At the end of the day, it's still the same voice, so nobody cares and nobody notices!

That's what Neal's been trying to tell us since 1998.
