Let's hope Indy isn't on the schedule next year, or the league gets the fix out of their ass and puts the game in Foxborough. Fukkers!

When I see DBs handchecking and swiping WRs hands away all game, but Butler just jumps for a ball, NO contact - and that's PI? The refs took this away from the Pats.

I have no problem with the officials' call on the 4th and 2 because Faulk was juggling it. The Butler interference call was one of the most absurd calls I've ever seen. Hell, watching it live, I thought it was ridiculous and seeing the replay really made the call unconscionable. Oh well...It's the NFL and this shit happens every week. You get some calls and lose some. At the end of the day, the Patriots really have no excuse for losing this game. They really dominated the Colts for most of the game, so to piss away a game they were dominant in is a huge disappointment.

HAHAHAHAHAHAAHA doesn't feel to good now does it. I know a thing or two about watching a team PISS AWAY A LEAD. Shit, Brady should of been picked for 6 and the outcome wouldn't of even came to that, you whiny, bitchass, no good son of a bitch. NOW who's making excuses? Serves them right. Stocktone, stop crying like a little mama's boy. NE got beat and it wasn't the ref's that "screwed them yet again." You simply don't go for that 4th down and it came back to lose the game for N.E

That was the game right there. In a nutshell. Shame. NE was smoking Indy. They held Clark in check like I said. And if it wasn't for those 2 redzone turnovers the game would have been 45-14 at one point. Combine that assinine PI call, and Pats handed those 2 turnovers to Indy, and there's your fucking game. Duckface comes out the hero, and he played like absolute shit.

Saying Manning played like shit is a bit of a stretch! Sure, he made some throws I'm sure he wish he could have back. That said, the guy made the plays when he had to make them and threw four td passes! Manning is a GREAT, GREAT player and I've always respected the hell out of the guy.

He didn't play good enough to win tonight. He needed a horrible call by opposing coach, and a MORE horrible Pass interference call in order to win....

BTW, Bill's horrible call isn't the worst in NFL history as far as I'm concerned.

Buffalo's coach defered possession in OT, and LOST.  PWNED!

It's not close to the worst call in history. The reality is that if Faulk doesn't juggle the catch, they get the first down and the game is over. At that point, people are saying that he has stones for going for it. It's really no different than a coach going for a 2 point conversion to win the game instead of kicking the PAT for the tie. I don't agree with the call and think you ALWAYS kick the ball under those circumstances. Oh well....onward and upward we go. I'm already looking forward to the rematch against the Jets next Sunday at 4:15pm!

You know, trav....I try to like you(not in a queer way - you fuckstick), but you continually make it more difficult with each passing post.

You wouldn't last 5 minutes watching a sporting event in enemy territory. You're the sort of chap that would get his ass kicked.

Although I must say I survived in an enemies bar as the ONLY person cheering for my team. My team won a playoff series that night. I left unscathed. It was glorious. I cheered and booed....and I was getting dirty looks from the natives. I didn't care.

Lmao dude you don't know me and I think you take this internet slang too god damn seriously. When you whine like a little girl like you do, you set yourself up. Johns too easy of a target since he blows so easily. :D(Give us time to party and we'd have a kickass time BTW)

I've watched many games in enemy territory and I came out un scathed and held my own quite well. I don't stuff anything in anyone's face or ride the bull dance like Shooter McGavin. I cheer when my team scores and cheer when something big happens, like any fan would do. There's trash talk and bickering but hardly came to any fights. It's just that your territory that you speak of needs a smack. (The attitude & arrogance that you and John from Bastard portray, fans up this way would have no problem beaten your ass as well. I don't go for that scum shit when fans stick their chest out when you're outnumbered by 65,000 drunken mother fuckers who want to throw down.) You're the one that comes in here to where your posts are unbearable to even comprehend and you come off as looking for heated debates and instigating. I said it to Matt many times, I fuck with you and John from Bastard 90% of the time, homo.  It's a message board, dude, don't be so sensitive. It looks REALLY stupid for the public to see someone get so worked up about it. This is all fun to me, and even know the NFL football thread might be full of some ego's who wants to show dominance for some reason, I like everybody here, and shit talk in an NFL thread won't change that. Again, think about it my man. 8)

Hell yeah it was. Everything the NFL wanted from these two teams, this is the reason why the NFL schedules these matchups for mid season, they never disappoint. The NFL loves high scoring, and even though both defense's has major holes to fill, both offense's score at will and when both teams make a mistake, then something must be wrong. A typical N.E/Indy game for the ages and something tells me this won't be the only one this season. If it does happen, unfortunately for the Colts, Belicheat doesn't lose to the same team twice in a season quite often.

It's just gotta be tough/weighing on their minds if they don't get home field. It's such an advantage forcing Peyton into the January weather in Foxborough. Granted, it's not nearly as big of a disadvantage for Brady to come play indoors, but still.

Without a doubt, I'd take Brady 10/10 with big stakes on the line at Foxboro. New England just DOESN'T lose there, PERIOD. Even though Brady and that offense won't be slowed down dome or not, to play in Indianapolis on the fast track pays major dividends for Indianapolis and just heightens their chances of winning a big game since Manning has always struggled big time out in those elements late January at Foxboro. (Remember now, Manning is Manning in the playoffs, so who knows.) I see New England handing New Orleans there first loss, so if Caldwell goes for the undefeated season rather than sitting players when all if wrapped up, The Colts will go 16-0 this year, but they are due for a slip up, since they got lucky the past couple contests.

I did not catch the game until the end... the indy NE game... WHAT THE HELL was the coach thinking throwing a 2 yard pass when you have mosss who can go 30 yards deep??? DONT GET IT...
I get the call 99-100 Brady makes the first down... just not that time.. that call might have cost them the season and wild card.... it couldnt have happened to a better franchise!! love the colts...

my PACK shuts down the big D... that rocks... 5-4 sure beats 4-5... ;-)
Rodgers looked awful until it mattered... but the Defenese was sharp all day agressive as all get out.

There is no "if". This is all wrapped up. The Colts have what is effectively a 4 game lead against New England. Three games in the standings and the tiebreaker due to last night's game. The AFC will go through Indy, period. I've seen Manning win a ton of games like that, so if I said I was surprised, I'd be lying. As much as that loss hurts, I think the Patriots are every bit as good, if not better than the Colts are. They weren't last night, but there aren't any trophies being handed out in November. While the Patriots lost that game last night, they also showed that they could pretty much move the ball up and down the field against their defense, so a playoff matchup in January should be interesting. I still think that the AFC Super Bowl representative will be either the Colts or the Patriots.

and the Pats were winning up until the last 13 seconds... There still a great team but the AFC has lots of good teams... if the Pats have a hangover this next week... then things will get interesting for wild card spots..

I'm gonna go on record and say that neither the Colts nor the Pats will make the Super Bowl. Both are very good, but, I don't think either quite has the depth to make it all the way to the Big Game.

While the Patriots lost that game last night, they also showed that they could pretty much move the ball up and down the field against their defense, so a playoff matchup in January should be interesting. I still think that the AFC Super Bowl representative will be either the Colts or the Patriots.

I'm gonna go on record and say that neither the Colts nor the Pats will make the Super Bowl. Both are very good, but, I don't think either quite has the depth to make it all the way to the Big Game.

And it might not be the Steelers... as they got swept by the Bengels this year right??? Critical stretch the next three weeks, for everyone at the top.

The Bengals are 100% for real on both sides of the ball. If Benson is out for an extended period that could change things. But, right now, they look the best to me. The biggest variable is that Peyton, Brady, and Worthlessberger are all proven winners who know what it takes. Not many guys like that on the Bengals team yet.

This is your argument? Really? Listen, if you want to criticize Belichick for going for it on 4th down, jump on the bandwagon, because everyone is. Saying he should have thrown the ball 30 yards down the field (which is ALWAYS a very low percentage play) when you need 2 yards for a first down is just plain moronic!

Do you even pay attention to the NFL? Even with the loss last night, the Patriots are the 4th ranked team in the AFC (meaning they wouldn't be a wildcard). Pittsburgh and San Diego would be the two wildcard teams right now. Furthermore, saying it might "cost them the season" is a bit ridiculous. Did you watch the game? Does that look like an offense who is struggling to score points? I can promise you that the only other QB the Patriots will face this entire season who has any shot of throwing up points like Manning is Brees. Also, if I go with your premise that all of a sudden the Patriots might be done...who do you suppose is winning their division? You do realize that if you win your division, you're in the playoffs, regardless of your record, right? The Patriots are two games up in their division, and I promise you that Miami isn't catching them and neither are the Jets! I get it...the Patriots lost the game. That said, they lost to an undefeated team. If I'm a Colts fan, I wouldn't come away from that game feeling like the Colts are some unstoppable team. The Patriots offense toyed with Indianapolis all night long. Their defense simply didn't make the plays it needed to make to win the game.

There will be no hangover. The Patriots have the Jets in Foxboro on Sunday. That is a game they simply won't lose! If they somehow manage to lose to the Jets, I will be the first one to say that they're a team that shouldn't be taken seriously any longer.

I just love all this NE/NE/Pittsburgh smack and no one here says a word about 7-2 Cincinnati, who should be 8-1 due to a fluke play against Denver. Yeah yeah, I know there is no such thing as "should be" but right now, I'll take Cincinnati over anyone. Their defense is awesome, flies to the ball and pressures the QB. Rothlisbrger didn't have a chance. Pittsburgh was clearly outplayed by a better team, period. The Colts are in the driver's seat for the playoffs, but Cincy has a lock on the divisioon, having beaten Baltimore and Pittsburgh twice. They get the Clowns again and not too tough of a schedule. Good luck as the wild card Steelers.

As for NE. They are still the best oil machine in the game and Belechik is still the best coach in the NFL. He probably figured, "make it we win." I would have punted it, but I am not in the NFL with four rings either.

Which team in the AFC has more depth than the Colts or Patriots? Both teams have been decimated by injuries this season, and both teams are playing a whole lot of rookies. They have a combined record of 15-3. Pittsburgh certainly isn't "deep" and without Polamalu, they'll get smoked by either of these offenses! The Bengals have a defense that I think is for real but their offensive "skill" players don't scare me, even a little! San Diego is always supposedly "the team to beat" but Norv Turner is their coach, so that's not happening. There is a reason that Jerry Rice said his Pop Warner coach was a better coach than Norv Turner!
