That's right, you should be fighting over a band or something!!!

Could be worse. Soccer fans in other countries indeed murder each other when a team wins or loses. Crazy, but it happens.

Didn't you just learn not to write checks your mouth can't cash? Last year Utah smoked the 2nd place SEC team. The PAC 10 went 6-0. If UT beats Bama and Cincy beats UF, then what will the spin be? You can't have it both ways. You can't talk it up and fail on the field, then fall back on the "well we're down this year" card. The PAC 10 has been down for 5 years and still goes 5-1, 4-2 and 6-0 in bowl games but I don't talk about them being the best. Right now though, their best 5 teams are better than the SEC's top 5 no doubt.
I can Cincy running over and through UF's defense. You got exposed last week to the run. Your defense is not that good. Playing Troy, FLA Intl and Vandy will inflate the stats.
I want to see the PAC 10 play the SEC in a bowl game.
I'd love to see Cinci do something shitty Ohio State couldn't and topple UF, but I don't think they have the defense to do it. They are more than capable of putting some points on the board though. It's hard to see UF losing this game barring a complete mental destruction/meltdown.

You shoulda seen the tantrum I threw when the Cavs dropped game 1 of the Orlando series last season. I was drunk and pissed and I knew that we were going to lose the series from then out. It was epic and I was pissed the whole night and most of the next day. I had to endure some shit from my Florida-based cousins, but as a sports fan, you have to be willing to take as well as you can dish.

It doesn't affect their life, but their mood, certainly. And judging by your logic, then thousands upon thousand upon thousands needs to check their priorities. Nothing anyone could do about it. Go take 5,000 dollars out of your bank account and burn it. That's the way Gator feels at that point and I bet you'd feel like shit if you did it. Even though it's two different things, it's still the same feeling and nerve. I mean, noone will die over 5,000 dollars, right? Come on, cut the dude some slack.

That's why I called him into this thread. The longer he stayed out the tougher it was going to be. He really hasn't felt a great burden...yet. I am not piling on the guy. I am as passionate as he is. It helps when my alma mater is the worst team in Division 1. I had no hopes when the season started, yet I love my school as much as he loves his. RedJoe was right though, Gator needs to come in and take his lumps, not offer puny excuses such as "our defense didn't come to play" or "Bama wanted it more." They got beat by a much better team. Bama is a lot better than UF is. That is a fact. That game was over a minute into the contest.

What a shitty thing to do to his players , his team, and even the school who gave him a chance to elevate himself to even be in the hunt for the ND job. Coaches' ability to do this should be contracted out or perhaps forbidden by NCAA regulation until the season is over.

I disagree.
Everyone knows a program like a Cincinnati is a stepping stone job, a job to get you to the next level, much like Utah was for urban Meyer, and Washington State was for Mike Price. The thing with Price is he loved WSU so much he stayed on and coached the Rose Bowl team against Oklahoma and got waxed. Not very bright Mike. I believe Alabama saw that game and said, "uh oh." Sounds like Kelly is ND bound. If I were a Bearcat, I wouldn't want him coaching my Sugar Bowl team. I would be hurt but I would understand too. Every coach wants that dream job. Notre Dame is the ultimate dream job in college athletics, let alone in sports period, despite what anyone here says, it is the mega apex. Kelly has to take that job or be certified as insane. Sure Cincy is a great story, but this is Notre fucking Dame we're talking about. Even urban Meyer would be crazy to turn it down despite what gator says. Florida ain't no Notre Dame in any regard, academics, athletics, money or power. Congrats to Kelly. I wonder if he'll change is pro choic e stance to appease those fucking Catholics? I hate Catholics.

AS much as I have enjoyed TIms years at florida Ill agree with Dean he wont be a high draft choice and clausen will probably be the first Qb selected this year

This will probably be the first year that a Quarterback won't be taken number 1 overall. In fact, this might be the first time ever that 2 D lineman, or 2 O lineman could be drafted #1 and # 2. Clausen will be high on everyone's draft board, he's certainly top 5 material, but Tebow is a 2nd-3rd round choice, NOWHERE NEAR 1st round material.

Bulk him up for tightend or slim him down for safety. Some of the running Nebraska QBs went in as defensive players, don't think any of them lasted very long however.

Safety? Are you kidding? Playing safety is a whole different beast and involves a whole different body texture and body work to play, esp that of a quarterback making a transition. It's hard enough for a college running back to convert to WR in the NFL and that's as skilled as it gets. No way a slow, bulky Tim Tebow will be able to play safety at the pro level. It'll never happen and even thoughts of that make me laugh.
He'll go as a quarterback first and foremost. I wouldn't be surprised if teams may ask him to convert maybe to either a Tight End for certain goaline packages, or just a QB that can come in and be used as a decoy to run a Wild Cat formation. I'm stumped on what he could do in the NFL because he certainly won't be able to start as a drop back passer in the pros. He will be a career backup regardless, but he'll be selected as a QB and maybe his heart and determination can prove us all wrong, but that's where it ends. He won't be anything spectacular.

Scott Frost was drafted as a safety and then switched over to defensive back where he played for six years. It's not that far fetched.
if you take Tebow as a QB, you'll have to pay him for that, which will be more money. Just to be a backup? Draft him for an unspecified position so you don't throw money down the drain. OR pull a Charlie Ward on his ass and don't draft him at all.
