There are just no words for how sweet this win is!!!! It almost salvages this miserable season!!

Easy on Travis. Football is huge to this guy. He's gone from having a Superbowl team, to a team in shambles. God, don't I know the feeling.

Fuck that, he's gonna take it, and he'll fuckin like it  . He knows he's gonna get it from me before he even clicks this thread.

I've been wallowing in misery for years and I am overjoyed at being 2-11. Think about that for a second. So sweet to knock them out of the playoffs, even if it means no number 1 pick.

That was the best toilet bowl I've ever seen! Fuck you too Matt you ball lickin' son of a bitch. I've never seen a collapse like this since.......................ever. The Steelers have hit rock bottom and I would be surprised to to see us come close to winning another game this season.. key word is CLOSE to winning.

One of the worst teams in the league is the Steelers. I'd actually rank the Bears, the Browns, the Raiders, and the Chiefs light years ahead of them. Time to pack it in, rebuild and clean house. I still got 3 games to enjoy them before the season is over and god dammit will I still enjoy it! I'm actually glad this season is over, got it out of the way as bad as this 5 game losing streak has been. The Browns can take their 1 win, but I'll take the 6 championships any day. We'll be back. 8)

How do you know that feeling? Aren't you a FraudBoys fan? You do realize that team hasn't won a single playoff game in almost 15 freakin' years, right? That dope Jerry Jones should be yearning for the days of Barry Switzer again

1 win and sending all the bandwagon non-native/non-lifelong Steeler fans back in their hole at least for a year or two  Fuck them.

Way for Cleveland fans to show up by the way, all 670 of them. The wagon will be empty and I can't wait for all the FRAUDS to officially sign off until we're on our way to another Super Bowl victory in about 3 seasons! I love how all the bad teams that beat the Steelers act like they won the Super Bowl. That's an ultimate compliment since we suck just as bad as them  Still, you must expect these seasons in some form or another and it isn't the first. Again, the Browns have about 35 more years of catching up to even come NEAR as an accomplishment or even thinking about being mentioned in the same sentence as the Steelers organization. Again, 6 championships and damn does it feel good, probably something any Browns fan will never get to experience.

I'm definitely and always will be a Cowboys fan. You can bask in the sunlight of success, as of late, but I KNOW you know the feeling I'm talking about. The Patriots have been great in this decade, and they deserve accolades to such, but FUCK dude, they've been horrendous as well. ;)

Only one word describes the Steelers

The Steelers have checked out...they in fact checked out 5 weeks ago...

They've been "horrendous" for about 20 minutes of this decade, and it's been mostly this season. I'm a fan and am hoping that they don't make the playoffs, because it will be the best thing that could ever happen to them. Maybe now that your boy Tony Homo is holding for kicks again, the Fraud Boys will put together a playoff run, but I wouldn't bet a nickel on it with that buffoon of a coach!

To think we were 6-2 at one point and moving along smoothly. The Super Bowl hangover and lack of drive is what did it, we simply just ran out of gas and after blowing leads, the players on the field didn't trust that man next to him and that trickles down through the whole team, week after week, hence 6-2 turning into 6-7. 1998, 1999, 2000, 2003, and 2006 were bad years, but this is possibly the worst after a Title run. We will have to rebuild in MANY area's on our defense, esp the d-line, who are all over 30 years of age. We'll draft right and turn it around next season.

I promise you that change is coming. If Vegas is offering any bets on whether or not Phillips gets fired, I would bet EVERY nickel you've made in your life on him getting fired. I've NEVER been so sure about something. The only way this guy keeps his job is if he wins the Super Bowl and that is NOT happening, in even the most delusional Cowboys' fan mind

Well, I'm glad you've come around. Honestly, it wasn't much of a prediction on my part. The dude has been fired from every job he's ever had and is now spending his weekly media sessions with the Dallas media talking about his prior win/loss record and how only Belichick has a better record than he has. I honestly can't tell you the last time I've ever seen a coach at any level do something so moronic. This guy simply doesn't have a clue and it shows every week.

That just goes to show that the majority of the Clown Nation are what I like to call closet Steelers fans. They worry more about the Steelers than their own team and that even goes as far as improving theirs! Hilarious. Sad really.  Seriously, congrats to all Clowns fans. They out played us in every phase including having the better water boy. Enjoy your first victory over us since the Civil War.

I am enjoying it you fuckstick. I woulda been pissed at any other win to knock us off the #1 pick perch, but of course I'll take a win over you guys any time, especially when it means totally derailing your playoff hopes. Think about it, would you ever root for the Steelers to lose to the Browns? FUCK NO

Face it, the Browns ended it. You guys had it made w/ your schedule for another 05-06-style miracle run

Yes, what could make a Steelers fan suffer more than losing to the stinking BROWNS :x BUT the Steelers will make it to their next SB before the Browns will even make it to the playoffs, so you will still ultimately be the ones suffering  :P  But I guess you deserve at least a day to gloat

We'll see about that... the heart and soul of the Steelers team, Worthlessberger aside, is getting a lot older - Ward, Harrison, and Polamalu are no spring chickens any more. Parker is old too but he's a non-factor at this point I guess, so nevermind him... Holmes and Mendenhall are decent offensive pieces to build around. The defense is getting exposed this year much the smae way the Ravens once stalwart D is.

While I don't expect them to become anything near as bad as the Browns have been, I do think that the law of averages needs to kick in and have us finally succeed in a draft here... we have to start going up at some point. This has been a really bad year for the AFC North overall. The Bengals looked impressive through the first half but they've been dreadful the last four or five weeks. I hope they can pick it up offensively and represent in the playoffs.

Even though you are a genius to point out that Ward nor Harrison are spring chickens (Hines is having his best year in the NFL and Harrison was 'no spring chicken' when he entered the league at 28 to begin with, so I don't buy that.) I've been saying it all over my Steelers boards for some time.. the Steelers MUST address the defensive side of the ball these next couple of seasons, esp the d-line. Our defensive lineman are ALL over 30 years of age, as are the backups. We got our defensive end of the future already marked in last seasons draft in Ziggy Hood. We must find depth all over the place which ranges from our Middle linebacking core, through our safeties. Having fresh, young depth is key and we have none of it. James Farrior has been solid throughout his career, but he's obviously been out of sync and is now become stale and slow. We must find a middle line backing duo that works, and Timmons would fit better in the Mack position as he would the Buck.

As far as offense is concerned, I believe we'd be fine once we get rid of that CLEVELAND REJECT in Bruce Arians who completely throws an overload of talent down the shitter.

Obviously, losing to the Browns, the Chiefs, and Raiders is something happening internally that carries out on the field and it MUST and will be addressed in the off season. Health is important to ANY football team it's just unfortunate that the Steelers have been dealing with it all season, esp to it's key starters that are game changers.

As far as the Clowns living up to it, don't bank on it! Beating the Steelers and going to a whomping 2-11 isn't anything to grow on no matter how bad you'd like it to. The Browns, from the name, to the organization, down to the players and coaches are FILLED with nothing but retardation and beating a distraught Steelers team in shambles won't change that. Once the Steelers get it right for next season, expect a new dominance to continue and a new winning streak over the Browns to continue moving forward! (Just like in '03 when they beat us, and just like 'in 05 when the Bungholes beat us and Chad Johnson claimed that the Steelers were black and white, compared to their colored tv. We all know how that ended up. )

The win for the Browns was nothing short of a fired up rivalry game. I said before, if it was ANY time for the Clowns to do it, it would of been last night. If the Browns face the Steelers at full throttle and at their best, they'd get their face stomped in. Last night was the Brown's best and that's sad.

Well, the point stands, the Browns are only going to be better next year barring ridiculously bad drafting/free agency and the Steelers have a real problem with the core of their team. I just want to see the rivalry reignited overall. I want pushing after plays, rowdy fans, dog fights in the dead of winter, defensive battles... etc. We are both too young to remember the glory days of this rivalry... trust me, it'll be a lot of fun if it picks back up again and both teams can get/stay decent.

As far as offense is concerned, I believe we'd be fine once we get rid of that CLEVELAND REJECT in Bruce Arians who completely throws an overload of talent down the shitter.

"Overload of talent"

Aside from Worthlessberger and Holmes, there is no overload of talent. Heath Miller is decent, Hines Ward is good but he's no Moss or TO, and Mendenhall is a marginally decent RB on his best day. Offensive line blows ass too. Hell, the Browns of a couple years ago circa KW2 and Braylon before the dropsies had a shitload more offensive talent than the Steelers.
