Oh Yeah...I don't know how much weed they smoked while recording their music, but I smoked a lot of weed while listening to it.

Supertramp...tripe???
Right...![]()
Undoubtedly one of the best pop/rock bands of our time. Albums like Crime of the Century, Crisis? What Crisis?, and Even In the Quietest Moments are timeless in their diversity and pure songcraft. And it's easy to say one is "burned out" on Breakfast In America, simply because of the massive airplay it received.
I'd give my left nut to have Roger Hodgson and Rick Davies put their differences behind them, reunite the original band, and go out for one final fling.
When I saw them on the Breakfast... tour at the San Diego Sports Arena, it was sonically one of the best concerts I've ever heard, no small feat considering that venue has a reputation amongst sound engineers for absolutely horrible acoustics.
There was a clear "prog" influence in Supertramp's music as well. Here's a prime example: "Fool's Overture," the final track on Even In the Quietest Moments:...
