Generations by Journey. Between Butterfly and that fucking repetitive Castronovo song A Better Life I felt ear raped for a few days. There are other terrible songs on there as well, but those 2 shit stains stand out.

I doubt anyone will remember to bump this post in another three years if that is indeed their opinion ;)

Hm, most albums I put in that I consider "terrible" at first are albums by bands that radically change their sound or just underwhelm me a lot compared to my expectations... a great example is Dream Theater's Systematic Chaos. In hindsight, it's not terrible and has great moments, but it was and still is very underwhelming for me as a big fan of the band.

VH III is a good one.

I guess if I've bought/heard any truly terrible albums, I've thrown them out or never listened to them enough to really consider them terrible. I'll have to think about this.

Shaun Cassidy's self-titled debut album.

Seriously, I'm old enough to have purchased this for a girl on whom I had a terrible crush. Like every other attempt at romance before the age of 21, it ended disastrously. But we did listen to it at her birthday party, and I remember thinking it was a pile of shit. Of course, I had just gotten "ESC4P3" so it sounded even worse.

Van Halen III... I strongly disagree with you both... definitely an underrated gem, in fact one of my favorite VH albums. Definitely has musical growth and depth, but I guess most VH fans just want to rock, and this isn't much of a "rockin" disc.

Worst album I've ever heard: Dokken's Shadowlife.

Van Halen III COULD have been much better. The production was terrible. Sounded like it was recorded on my boom box. Dry sound with no life. Some songs aren't too bad but I think they needed a better producer for this one.

Yeah. The record companies bent me over many, many times when I was young. I bought so many records that ended up having only 1 or 2 good songs. They cry about theft on file sharing networks but what about the theft of MY money on junk I couldn't return if I didn't like.

LOL, shit stains, I should of used that in my previous thread, that's a good one. Well I don't know... I reckon Generations is pretty poor for Journey's standards, but as for a bad album, I reckon this one is pretty shit...

So full of Sh*t your eyes are brown.
It's at LEAST the best Augeri era album and far better than TBF.
You just don't like to rock (and for that you have the best ballad of the Augeri era KTYLM) instead prefering to sache about like Buffalo Bill going "*sluuuuuugggghhhhh (smacks lips) I'd f*&k me...I'd F^%k me....uuuuuhhhhhh" in pumps twisting your nips w/ tweeezers whilst grinding your thighs together to the sound of Why Can't This Night Go On Forever on repeat.

Far as the topic itself goes, worst ear-bleeder I've ever spun was GNR's Spaghetti Incident?
"I love almost everybody."---Rocky Balboa 1990
"Let's reform this thing.Let's go out and get some guys who want to work and go do it"--Neal Schon February, 2001
"I looked at Neal, and I just saw a guy who really wants his band back"-JCain 2/01
