I have a stupid flip phone and I really have HAD it with that crap.
I want a phone with gizmos! I want facebook and twitter and twitpic and all that shit that I don't need.
I discovered the absolute NEED for these things last weekend in L.A. and bugging Rhi to use HER phone to get on the internet, and then again when I was BORED at the airport.![]()
Try reading MR on a flip phone... um... does NOT work.

I think I need one with a qwerty and not a touchscreen.
But the qwerty on the BlackBerry looks too tiny for me.
I'd be frustrated all to hell in about 30 seconds fighting with that thing.
No iPhone because it's AT&T and because my I about died when my friend told me what she pays monthly for the iPhone/AT&T service that includes all the web browsing and all that. Hell no.
So I'm not sure what I'm gonna do.

But yeah it's neat, lol.
It's all about getting used to it though. Typing something with it once every 6 months you can't. When you use it all day everyday,it gets faster and easier. Have you seen my kids text on a cheap flip phone :shock:Alyssa can do it behind her back

You would get used to a touch screen. But doesn't the 3G phone that Rick mentioned have a keypad and a touchscreen? I cant' remember... I think only the Iphone has a touchscreen keyboard, right?

The mouse pad blows the trackball away. No touchscreen worries, outstanding battery life, really a great phone. The price for upgrade or new contract with T-Mobile is $130.

Yeah that looks like the one I've been looking at too. People seem to rave about that trackpad over the trackball.

I totally hate that. When everyone around me can whip out there phones at any given time and surf the internet I get pissed. I think it's rude. And my fear of getting one of those is that I would start doing it and I don't want to do that. Nor do I want the people I have bitched at about it to call me out on doing the same thing I gave them shit about.
I remember one time being out to dinner with two people, BOTH of whom pulled out their phones and were surfing, etc. I'm sitting there like wow, am I that boring or are they that into their facebook or whatever they're looking at on those phones? it made me want to have a smartphone just so I would have something to do instead of just sitting there.

While my friends bury their noses in ESPN at the bar, I go talk to the hot girl a few seats down. WIN.

Oh yeah, I got pretty good with it before getting rid of my flip phone, lol. Love having a full keyboard much better! You are pretty fast on yours considering you use ONE finger![]()
