Hey fags, just some food for thought: pedophiles are said to be "born that way" too, or at the bare minimum, nurtured to be that way (ie, past abuse). Why blame them any more than yourselves?

What is it with the two of you? You say you hate fags, but the two of you follow each other around this board like a couple of starry eyed lovers. It's like the minute one of you posts anything the other one follows immediately after.

That just seems a bit ...., well ....., gay.

I don't hate gay people at all. You can vehemently disagree with a lifestyle and still be civil toward them. And I am. :)

Matty, I love ya dude, I really do...I laugh out loud at your posts all day, but have to disagree big time here. If a person is gay, they're gay. They're still human beings and deserve respect as a human. Yeah I know, I make fun of fags too, but if we ever have to be serious, which is hardly at all here, I have to support the other side here. If it's a choice, it's a choice, and if it's innate, well it's innate. I just know I won't judge someone for being gay. It doesn't bother me at all and to go one step further, I don't think their lifestyle should even be a topic of conversation. It's really a private matter isn't it? Their "behaviour" doesn't harm others, and doesn't impede "liberty, life or the pursuit of happiness" of others does it? A gay person deserves everything life has to offer as a straight person.

I know you will hate me for this, but that's where I stand.

Asshole. I just inadvertently swallowed about 17 Toffee Peanuts because I laughed out loud at this. I wouldn't make fun of the Browns too much though- they are getting close to being real competitive.

Probably the best post out of your whole 23,000.

I'm not sure I'll ever understand the hate. That's someone else's life. They have a right to it. That's someone else's bedroom - it's none of anyone else's business. I just don't get what is so damn difficult about that concept.

The truth of the matter is I don't really care that much. It's just fun to push their buttons because they're so damn insecure as people  .

I'm not an opponent of gay marriage and I really don't care that much one way or the other, but one thing I do care about are two things that almost every gay I've ever known has consistently done: (1) Played the victim card and (2) Expected me to not only "accept" the lifestyle, but to actively voice my encouragement and approval of it. In the course of doing both things, they make it a matter of anything but a "private matter." No thanks.

Well Hell, when everyone makes jokes all day about them, you can hardly blame gay folk Matt. Seriously, how much serious shit can a person take? I would hope I know personally when to pull back or draw the line. If you think about it, it's pretty cruel to make fun of the lifestyle when it's as fragile and unaccepted as it is.

Good point. Well, if you them each into their proper category, though, then they both shine.
This one would top the serious posts... so at least it's still the best out of.... 150.

The Robbie material is probably a category of it own.

Maybe so Holly, but just because one gay person does in fact play the victim, it doesn't mean that all gays do. It's sort of like a Black stereotype. Let's face it, the stereotype of a black guy is a dude on welfare, sleeping in til 2, playing NBA 2010, drinking a 12ver of Old English 800, and going out for a quick drive by...all by 11 PM at night....Ok, stop laughing.

Now, we know these scumbags exist, but for every one of these Gangsta thugs, there are hard working black guys who make an honest living. Can you see my point? Hopefully? Hey Matty, go tell Clarence he is a worthless nigga and see how far he punts you.

That is not what I meant....there are some here that play the victim card way before someone who has a difference in their life partner. I work and live in Maine with plenty of gay people...it's not my place to be judge and jury for anyone...I have made enough mistakes in my own life that I need to testify to....Just Saying!!! It's not my place to choose a life partner for anyone. No one has a perfect relationship...there are
not many that actually exist....so everyone should be able to seek it.

My goodness, can't believe there is still so much discrimination in this day and age...gay or straight, black or white or whatever color you are - are these reasons to hate people? People are people, and although I'm not going to rally for gay rights in particular, I think all individuals should have equal rights. I think of it this way - if I wouldn't want someone telling me who I could or couldn't love, why would I do that to another.

And I am. :)

Okay, I'll bite. Here's my attempt at a serious post with you:

I guess what I don't understand is WHY you & Matt are so bothered by it. I mean, I don't wanna think of my grandparents having sex, but they do & I try not to think about it b/c it creeps me out. (Sorry, Grandma.... You know I love you.) Anywayz, if what gays do bothers you guys so much, then why do you torture yourself by thinking about it all the time & talking about it so venomously? Exhibit A: The 14 inch black cocks choking Jason post. Where did that come from? I can take a joke, but that wasn’t written in a humorous context b/c Matt never jokes around with me & I wasn't even a part of that thread.

Deano’s stuff doesn’t bother me. SteveW2’s stuff doesn’t bother me. Voyager’s, ...., Steve0777’s, ....., GI Jim’s, ..... Gator’s, ....... as well as most anybody else’s gay stuff doesn’t bother me. Why? Because unless I’m just naive, I don’t believe they write what they write out of hate like you & Matt. I mean, I could understand if your comments were a rebuttal to say, something myself, or any other gay person on this site were to say. If I were coming on here being graphic & posting colorful & specific, VIVID details about "last night" then YES, I could understand you coming on here giving me the holy hell you usually do. But I don't & you do & that’s what I don’t understand.

Ehwmatt wrote:The truth of the matter is I don't really care that much.

Please explain to me where I have played the victim card where I wasn’t actually the victim in that case.

I do keep the private stuff private on the main board. What I choose to discuss in a PM to someone is my business. On the other hand, I think maybe you’re not understanding the basic concept of privacy. I'm usually pretty subdued when it comes to talking about Brandon or anything we do as it relates to going out for the evening. Still, I have just as much right to discuss the regular comings & goings of my relationship as anyone else has here, & so if by doing so you conclude that I’m making my lifestyle anything but private, then you don’t understand the rules of the game. Privacy does not equate to closeted. As long as I don't get graphic & turn my posts into an X-rated escapade, I don't see why I can't discuss the same things that any hetero on this site might discuss.

I don't know if either of you are still logged on. I'm logging off now b/c I'm sleepy & so if you're still logged on, I won't be around to rebuttal. Maybe tomorrow if it's needed.

I wouldn't say "VICTIM" I think I would use the term "WHINER", there are several whiners here and in the world in general ...
I get whiney when I'm exremely tired!!! I don't care what color you are, your sexual
orientation, what language you speak or what you eat for dinner, but, for the love of god, don't whine about it!!! If you
are satisfied with YOU and have people in your life that love and care for YOU ~why do YOU give a damn
what other people think?!? We have no control over others and 99.999% of the time you aren't going to
change their way of thinking ...don't worry~be happy!!! :D

Yeah, but the thing here is that it isn't as easy as "I don't give a damn what other people think" because "what other people think" is what is causing gays to be denied rights. It's not like "Ok, I'm happy even though I'm short/tall/too thin/too heavy... and it doesn't matter what other people think..."

It's a lot like the civil rights movement - they're being denied rights and discriminated against because of something that is beyond their control.

I understand, but I'm also of the belief that until something major happens in ones life
that may alter their way of thinking on a particular subject~a walk in someone
else's shoes, perhaps ...it probably ain't happening!! I'm as guilty of that as the next
person.

If anything, people are MORE bigoted today than ever before. That includes people who are bigoted against Christians who believe homosexual behavior is a sin.

There's nothing bigoted about being against Christians who believe homosexuality is a sin. It's ok to think whatever you want, but the fact is that Christians believe homosexuality is a sin, and a choice. It's not a choice.

Seriously; people can believe whatever they god damn want to, but there's a big difference about believing and what's a fact

'God sham' would probably be more appropriate.
