I have to disagree - didn't come off as unsportsmanlike at all live, and got a huge laugh. I've seen boxers do similar before and it always works well for an audience. Once was a Julio Caesar Chavez fight where his opponent was in constant retreat beginning to end. Chavez just stopped and dropped his hands and looked at the guy with amusement. Just a way of saying c'mon, do you want to fight or what, with a bit of psychological effect as well.
