The first Medicare cuts go into effect in September, supposedly...do you actually think they will do this??? the smear campaign did not work. i don't claim this is the perfect bill, not at all. what it does do is right some wrongs that are long overdue. anyone that thinks anything is free is delusional. medicine, procedures, etc all cost money. a person paying premiums and expecting to have coverage for something, blah blah blah..... folks should not lose their shirts because they get sick. we already pay for the uninsured. we need to move forward and this bill starts the movement we need. there will no doubt be issues, but to deny reform of the industry is much more costly.

but in your previous post, you keep saying we want free health care and then surgery won't be covered for free. Everybody I know for it are looking forward to the same coverage Congress gets, which will still cost me plenty I'm sure, just way more affordable than the astronomical prices I'm paying for coverage. My sister is looking forward to some affordable insurance since her husband lost his job and her daughter has preexisting since birth and my sister has preexisting herniated discs. People can keep their own insurance. Nobody is getting rid of the private sector.
