on April 16th. Now they are retracting their announcement as an "April Fool's Day Prank." They are offering refunds on their tickets
that were sold AFTER the twitter announcement, stating, "If you purchased your Lincoln Brewster tickets thinking that Steve Perry was going to sing with Lincoln
we can offer you a refund for your ticket if you wish.".
I wonder if they are giving refunds for the many non-refundable airline tickets that were likely also purchased? There are April Fools pranks and then there are actionable misrepresentations. This announcement was the later. What a way to boost ticket sales. I don't think Lincoln Brewster really needs that kind of promotion, and the actions
of CPC Live should not reflect on Lincoln in any way. I personally think it wasn't a "prank" but more likely they got "the call" from Perry's
lawyers and came up with a plan to save themselves as best they could. In any case, the whole thing was NOT funny.

I'm thankful that I'm taking my mom to Washington D.C. begining that day, so I didn't fall victim to such a scam.
There must have been a flood of ticket sales for the show shortly after the twitter announcement this morning.
