Jim Carrey Tweets About Elin

Postby SherriBerry » Mon Apr 19, 2010 8:30 pm

Jim Carrey recently posted some Tweets that basically stated Elin Woods could not possibly have been blind to that degree of infidelity and was partly to blame for looking the other way, whatever her reasons were. He was clear he doesn't condone the infidelity, but that is a pretty unpopular viewpoint. He has posted some really weird things since splitting with Jenny McCarthy that are making people think he's flipped his wheels. Was he being brutally honest or just trying to get attention?

"Tweets"...
What a fucked-up world we live in today.

I guess anyone who tweets is, by default, trying to get some attention,
no matter how brutal or honest their message.

But when is Jim Carrey not saying things that make people think he's flipped though?
Great actor - funny as hell... but he is one weird dude a lot of the time.

Thats quite ignorant of him to say that, and really none of his business.

I don't disagree with him at all. There's a great chance she had to know, at least subconsciously. What I doubt she knew is the sheer scope and extent of what he was doing.

The truth is, these celebs' lives are structured so weird and the acceptable bounds of their relationships are things us mere mortals could never fathom.

I'm not saying this was necessarily true of Elin's conception of her relationship, but more often than not, I think a lot of the time, these celebs have at least an implied, if not express agreement with their spouses to just not get caught doing this kinda thing or to make it too obvious to the other in a "don't insult my intelligence" kinda way.

Again, maybe Elin really thought they were in a completely monogamous relationship, I can't say for sure. But, my money is on Carrey's interpretation, especially given the "don't make it obvious" phenomenon that prevails in many celeb marriages.

I officially endorse this candidate. Oops... wrong thread!  Jim is THE man. True, he might be a little eccentric, but he's one of the funniest people on the planet. I think his quirks are what make him that way. One of THE people I'd love to get drunk with. Him and Will Ferrell. Could you imagine a drunk fest with the two of them?

Well, most times celebs NEVER walk into any type of relationship, business or otherwise, and not have it planned or organized. I can believe that both parties were aware of Tiger's "issues."

I don't know, maybe Tiger DID marry an unsuspecting foreign woman who was unaware of what she was getting into. Or, perhaps they both knew about Tiger and the marriage was set up for Elin to lay back, pop out a couple of kids by a prodigious rich sports superstar and get paid a "grip" of money for her efforts. Either way, I tend to agree with Jim Carrey that to some degree the wife had to know. Then again a woman's best friend or worse enemy is "denial." :D

I actually dealt with Carrey when he was filming Liar Liar. The guy is not a nice guy, plain and simple. He has a lot in common with Andy Kaufman as everything he does is very calculated. You might think he is spontaneous but he's not, he thinks everything out and plants his smile well before he takes the stage. I'm not going to list all of the reasons why I dislike him, I will just say that if he got hit by a bus today, I wouldn't shed a tear.

Now that's funny how first impressions really count. I first met Jim Carrey years ago and he could not have been nicer. He was known then as James Carrey of In Living Color. I met him after one of the tapings in the parking garage. He was taking balloons left over from a party on the set to his daughter who was a child back then. We spoke briefly and I was left with nothing but a fond memory of the man.

My "if ya get hit by a bus..." moment goes to Whoppie "where'd my eyebrows go?" Goldberg, a mean evil Scorpio bitch from hell who thinks her braids ain't nappy. Met the bitch while she taped Sister Act II I believe at the church we used to attend when I was a practicing Catholic, St Paul's. She walked by with security guard posed and smiled with all the kids and some adults, so I felt confident to at least say "hello." But, when I approached her she lowered her head to peek at me from atop her shades, growled in a "don't even think about it" fashion, so I gave up. Everyone else was not black, so I took it very personally. Years later I figured it out, Whoopie Goldberg does not hate blacks, she hates blacks with eyebrows! :D *snort*

Jim Carrey is off his rocker. He's one of those "autism is caused by vaccinations" conspiracy nuts and his tweets are always weird.

I dealt with him for 4 days so I can't give him the ' Bad Day' excuse. He was fine when he was around his girlfriend (Helen Hunt? I can't quite remember her name), but when it came to dealing with the kids and others around the set, a different side of his personality emerged.

Carreys tweets:

"Tiger Woods owes nothing 2 anyone but himself. 2 please his father he gave up his childhood and his freedom in the world. That’s enough!”

“No wife is blind enough to miss that much infidelity. Elin had 2 b a willing participant on the ride 4 whatever reason”

“No woman just stays at home with the kids anymore. Tiger was wrong and Elin was ignoring the obvious.”

“Whenever we form a consensus about some1 we envy, who’s stumbling, our collective ego LOVES to flex its unified muscle! S’ugly!”

wow.. Jimbo really painted himself in a corner with these...

I'll, give you one example. There are others but this one is a good one. A kid is there with his mother. He's got his Carrey gear and waits for four hours hoping to get a chance. Now, if Carrey doesn't want to deal with the kid, that is fine but this is what happens. He sees the kid oggling him and sends over an asst producer to tell the kid to hold on for a few more hours and he'll take care of them. Everything finally finishes, it's been in the 90s all day, outside shots in Century City, every one is beat. The Grip signals to Carrey, he gets the sign to bring the kid over. With in a few feet of Jim, Carrey gives a sign to his bodyguard and the kid is stopped and the kid is told to get out of there, that Carrey doesn't have time for him. BAM!! The kid is devastated, his mother is fuming but she doesn't go off or anything, she just walks the kid away. No one else is around looking for autographs, the set is quiet as things wrap up and Carrey sits there for another 5 minutes sipping his drink until his woman shows up.

The guy can do anything he wants obviously but to me it was a sadist act and if lightening had struck him then, I would have pissed on his ashes.

MG: Ha! "Once you go white..." *snort* funny!

Well, you guys, wow, I had no idea about Jim's tweets. I don't really follow him anymore. But, what I want to know is, what's up with Jenny McCartney stating she could not deal with his depression any longer? I knew he suffered from depression, but still? He must be in real bad shape. Poor guy.

As for Miss Whoopie, if she is a "reverse racist" if there is such a thing, then she should become a converted Caucasian and give back her real name, Caryn Elaine Johnson, cut off her "locked" hair and wear those white sheets she used to joke about in stand up about wanting to be a white girl, bleach her skin and call herself Buffy Kristie McCartney or something. I simply do not like that woman.

Tell me if Perry does this though.
Goes into a quiet corner, starts cussing at himself, and quietly sobbing before going to film. Not just once but at the start of every shoot.

:D *snort*

I dealt with him for 4 days so I can't give him the ' Bad Day' excuse. He was fine when he was around his girlfriend (Helen Hunt? I can't quite remember her name), but when it came to dealing with the kids and others around the set, a different side of his personality emerged.

Come on, give us the details

If you gonna tell a story , give all the details...... You forgot to mention to everyone that "the kid" was our own Parfait .... Do you blame Jimbo ??? :P

Well, you guys, wow, I had no idea about Jim's tweets. I don't really follow him anymore. But, what I want to know is, what's up with Jenny McCartney stating she could not deal with his depression any longer? I knew he suffered from depression, but still? He must be in real bad shape. Poor guy.

Depression is the comic's disease.

This dude didn't just play Andy Kaufman, he is him reincarnated, he just needs to kick the chair to complete the cycle, seriously.

Wow. That sounds exactly like a story I read about Steve Perry once too... forgot who said it...

Yeah, Perry told (I think it was) RVR when he was a kid "What the fuck do you want?!?!"

That is so interesting gunbot. I hate to admit but didn't know him and wife split. He is funny as hell but has always seemed way off his rocker to me.

You are right I remember now. Sorry them on Larry King last year talking about the vaccinations and they seemed happy but most of the time it's an act or a put on. Step daughter is in the hollywood scene and it's usually better to admire them from afar because when you get close up most of them are nothing but self centered asses. :D
