Jim is THE man. True, he might be a little eccentric, but he's one of the funniest people on the planet. I think his quirks are what make him that way. One of THE people I'd love to get drunk with. Him and Will Ferrell. Could you imagine a drunk fest with the two of them?

He was clear he doesn't condone the infidelity, but that is a pretty unpopular viewpoint. He has posted some really weird things since splitting with Jenny McCarthy that are making people think he's flipped his wheels. Was he being brutally honest or just trying to get attention?

He has a lot in common with Andy Kaufman as everything he does is very calculated. You might think he is spontaneous but he's not, he thinks everything out and plants his smile well before he takes the stage. I'm not going to list all of the reasons why I dislike him, I will just say that if he got hit by a bus today, I wouldn't shed a tear.

Now that's funny how first impressions really count. I first met Jim Carrey years ago and he could not have been nicer. He was known then as James Carrey of In Living Color. I met him after one of the tapings in the parking garage. He was taking balloons left over from a party on the set to his daughter who was a child back then. We spoke briefly and I was left with nothing but a fond memory of the man.
My "if ya get hit by a bus..." moment goes to Whoppie "where'd my eyebrows go?" Goldberg, a mean evil Scorpio bitch from hell who thinks her braids ain't nappy. Met the bitch while she taped Sister Act II I believe at the church we used to attend when I was a practicing Catholic, St Paul's. She walked by with security guard posed and smiled with all the kids and some adults, so I felt confident to at least say "hello." But, when I approached her she lowered her head to peek at me from atop her shades, growled in a "don't even think about it" fashion, so I gave up. Everyone else was not black, so I took it very personally. Years later I figured it out, Whoopie Goldberg does not hate blacks, she hates blacks with eyebrows!*snort*

I dealt with him for 4 days so I can't give him the ' Bad Day' excuse. He was fine when he was around his girlfriend (Helen Hunt? I can't quite remember her name), but when it came to dealing with the kids and others around the set, a different side of his personality emerged.

I'll, give you one example. There are others but this one is a good one. A kid is there with his mother. He's got his Carrey gear and waits for four hours hoping to get a chance. Now, if Carrey doesn't want to deal with the kid, that is fine but this is what happens. He sees the kid oggling him and sends over an asst producer to tell the kid to hold on for a few more hours and he'll take care of them. Everything finally finishes, it's been in the 90s all day, outside shots in Century City, every one is beat. The Grip signals to Carrey, he gets the sign to bring the kid over. With in a few feet of Jim, Carrey gives a sign to his bodyguard and the kid is stopped and the kid is told to get out of there, that Carrey doesn't have time for him. BAM!! The kid is devastated, his mother is fuming but she doesn't go off or anything, she just walks the kid away. No one else is around looking for autographs, the set is quiet as things wrap up and Carrey sits there for another 5 minutes sipping his drink until his woman shows up.
The guy can do anything he wants obviously but to me it was a sadist act and if lightening had struck him then, I would have pissed on his ashes.
