Today I caught a fish of a lifetime.
A 50 inch class Musky.
She's a bit beat up as the just got done spawning, but WOW...I am still shaking.
Here she is:
I could fish for 20 more years and never catch another musky that big.[/img]

doesn't the fish get hurt when you drag it up to the boat?

I always wanted to know this too... why throw them back when you've already hurt them?
That seems just mean, to harm an animal for sport and toss it back in... at least if you eat it, it serves a purpose...
What am I missing here?

I can sit around downing beer without needing to do it on a boat with bugs around waiting for fishies.I would try fishing (if someone else would bait the hook for me - I do not touch bugs), but thus far I have not had the opportunity.
Catching rays and hiking - ahhhh that's my girl!! I really miss hiking. Used to do it a lot in AZ.
Illinois isn't exactly hiking country.
