If I had waited for my husband to get around to it, we'd still be living together. I didn't ask, I just told him that after 2 years, I expected marriage and if he wasn't interested that's fine, just let me know and I'd move on. We had a wedding date set 30 min later. Been married for 32 years. Women don't need men to procreate. You can go to a sperm band for that. My husband & I never had the desire to have kids, but I'm still glad I got married.
