in their late 60s these guys can flat out still play really tight as a group... 40 years of timeless songs... crazy good.
about 3200 people packed the civic center...which is close to a sell out... Tuesday afternoon had me chocked up for sure...
and so did the Question... I guess the reason I love the Moodies so much is the emotion it brings... the same as Journey's timeless classics do... gives you goosebumps when you hear the music!!
a couple of pics... the camera police were every where... so waited to the end to take a few from my cell phone...

Very good, Ricky ...glad you enjoyed!! Nights In White Satin kinda freaked me
out as a kid and I still get that eerie feeling when I hear it, but it's only one song!!
Did they sing Go Now?!?

I know Laine continued singing that song live as a member of Wings.

Did you read the interview with Justin that I posted? He says most people only want live CDs and DVDs form the older acts so it makes it hard to get new music out there.

Man, was 1981 one of the best years ever for great rock or what? Foreigner 4, Paradise Theatre, Hi-Infidelity, Long Distance Voyager, High 'n' Dry, For Those About to Rock, Tattoo You, Captured and Escape. Great time to be a rock fan.
From1980 to 1983, the rock scene was just freaking epic.

That is a killer set list with some suprises. Nice to see Driftwood in there, one of the few good songs from Octave. I havent seen the Moodies since 2007, I may have to catch them on this tour now.
