I say 60-22...barring a MAJOR injury.

Guys like Bird, Magic, Jordan, Isiah and Kobe stuck with their teams and built championships around themsleves. They didn't have to quit and run off to attempt to buy a championship. Because that's what he did ... he gave up money and the challenge of leading his own team to join Dwyane Wade's. That team will never be considered his, considering Wade won a championship there and didn't have to run off and join another team like a little bitch. Regardless of championships, and I'm not so sure he'll even win one, history will not be kind to this decision, nor should it be. What a pussy.

Helluva post Dan.

Thanks, Dean. For once in my life I'm a fucking Cleveland Cavaliers fan tonight. That city and state loved and adored him, and this is the payback? A fucking 1 hour press conference to gloat about leaving a fanbase, city and state in shambles? What a colossal prick.
I have yet to hear it mentioned so I'm gonna pose it ... do you think LeBron would have left if he already had a championship? I think everyone would concur that he would stay in Cleveland, and the quotes from him leaking out say as much. Here you have a guy in the prime of his career running off to another team out of fear of going ringless. I'll salute a guy like John Stockton tenfold over this chickenshit any day. I could SEE the discomfort in his eyes and in his mannerisms on the Sportscenter replay. He's not comfortable with this decision and he knows he shit on Clevealnd and all of Ohio. He will regret this decision and the giant bullseye he's put on his back. And we've all seen how he plays under pressure.

E-X-A-C-T-L-Y how I feel and was the first thing that came to my mind as well. What an uptight coward to run for the fences and pair himself alongside other major superstars when the going gets tough when some minor things change with the organization that drafted you and to where you were the face and savior of that franchise, let alone treated like a god. What a downright little wuss to not finish what you started. Prime example of just not being good enough and scurrying away to try to buy a championship since he couldn't do it in Cleveland.
I hate Cleveland for obvious reasons, but I would of loved to see LeBron be a man and live up to the expectations of being that #1 ultimate leader and stay put with the one team that drafted him and try to earn his legend with winning a championship with HIS team. What a missed opportunity to be lumped with guys like Jordan, Bird and KoBE. I'll say it once and say it again, LeBron will NEVER be able to even sniff the sweat that trickles off of KoBe's jockstrap and into his asscrack. LeBron will now be sought out as a man who ran away from the challenge.
Well said.

How do you feel about Shaq leaving Orlando for the Lakers in order to win a title?
Just curious, as the main difference between the two seems to be not that they left, but HOW they left...

This is a guy jumping from a team which finished with the best record in the league because of a premeditated plan hatched a few years ago when he and he his buddies re-upped their contracts at the same time so they could be free agents together. It is Collusion in a sense but it's also legal.
Dwayne Wade will be the first one that breaks this fellowship.

2-1 odds that one or two of the three will be injured if the season goes bad... and will be out for some time...
it will not be a team of synergy... but a team of individuals...those teams never win championships...
