You clearly don't like Stern and many don't, but to call him talentless is fucking ABSURD! Like him or not, he is one of the most significant people in the history of radio!

Since this guy bounced from terrestrial radio, the airwaves have been devoid of talent. It's either Rush, Beck, or Seacrest on every station. Take your pick. The Greaseman came back briefly but now he's been canned again. There's NOTHING on.

It's a must. My brother owns a T-shirt screening company and I worked for him for about 6 years or so. Customers would come in, we'd be behind the curtain printing shirts blasting Howard Stern and laughing our ass's off. Life in the radio field isn't complete without Howard Stern, PERIOD. I'd vote Stern in for President of the United States of America if he ran today. Plus, Stern has all the perks he needs to run the show HIS way on Sirius, something he couldn't do on his other station under contract, which means more tits, more ass, more orgasm's and more hilarity to his techniques & his style of what he commands from his panelist regarding juicy gossip and straight to the bone humor. Guys a legend.

can't believe you don't like Howard man. I think he's pretty hilarious. I will say, I had SIrius back when he first moved to satellite and it was terrible - it was almost like the freedom to say anything made it less edgy. But, I had a rental car a year ago after some wetback hit my car and I got to listen to Howard for a week. He was back to form.

13 bucks a month, Stern is unedited. it's worth it alone just to hear Howard. You can listen online too, Matt. You don't need a Sirius radio to listen.

Howard is the King for a reason. Those who don't like him either never listened to him or are jealous, period.

Artie should be fired. The dude nabbed the most highly sought after gig in radio, bar none, and half the time he's either late, hung over, or depressed. Even Martling didn't pull this BS. Allegedly Adam Carolla was Stern's first choice anyway.

That's the rumour. I just read arties book, Too Fat to Fish, and besides it being hilarious, it does say Corolla was the first choice, but Artie came in and auditioned and snatched the job. You have to admit TNC, Artie is hilarious.

Anybody is funnier than Jackie, but c'mon, Artie has pissed away what is arguably the most fun job in the world. Any comedian would kill to be in that seat. At this point, I'd even rather hear Diceman sitting there.

I have to admit, I found Artie gross, at first, but as time went on, I realized he was a brilliant addition. The guy is so funny and quick-witted. I love his dry humor he would toss in at opportune moments. What's going on with him? He never came back, yet? I read he was starting standup again. He has some horrible demons to have stabbed himself like that.

Artie Lang has had MANY Stern moments, but this sticks out as his Gold Metal radio earnings. It doesn't get better than this: Artie flips out on his assistant for possibly stealing money off of him of some sort. This made major risings on the radio Richter scale. It slowly builds up to utter CHAOS. I remember listening to this live. EPIC.

Is that the one that says "I had to go to Bloomies"? ohh man...Artie has some issue, clearly. But that was funny... There's video out there too somewhere. Carolla on the show - I can't see that, he needs to lead his own show. Adam's podcasts are pretty good.

Did you hear the annoucement this morning? He came on and fooled around for 15 minutes making a retirement announcement and freaked everyone out. Then he took *so* long getting to it, stringing everyone along, so I cheated... went to my phone, looked at Twitter, saw "Stern stays at Sirius for 5 more years" and went on with my day.

I would have cancelled if he left. He's why I got it in 2006.

Howard 100 and Howard 101. It's his station, so he's always "on". The live shows run M-T from 6am to 10am.

I've seen some pics from up that way! The weather channel was live in Erie a few days ago. Those images make me happy I live here. Take note though....over 4ft of snow in a couple days time doesn't even shut the people down! They get out their shovels, and carry on  you're lucky you didn't get as much as some areas north of you! Did they give you studded tires on that rental? I can just see you sitting out in your car with the heat cranked up listening to stern
