Michigan fires Rich Rod today. How convenient? Stanford just finished up a 12-1 season last night(IMO, the second best team in the country), and Harbaugh is probably going to go to Ann Arbor. I don't get why he would want to leave Stanford for Michigan? Yeah it's his alma mater, and stanford is a helluva lot tougher to recruit to than Michigan, but he could build something special on the Farm. Stanford would seem to have just as much cash on hand as Michigan would.

Yeah, but Jimmy is real good at the pro set offense that Stanford runs. Did you see that machine at work last night? It was too easy. Of course having the best QB in the land makes it so, but I think JH likes to air it out, and that style(except for Purdue), doesn't play in the Big Ten. Stanford would crush EVERY team in the Big Ten, easily.

If you were watching ESPN now like I am, it does seem likely. He's coming, IMO. I know the NFL is calling too, maybe in Denver with Elway calling him. The other possibility is Les Miles jumping ship from LSU. Now I get that. I would leave the rigors of the SEC to the easy road of the Big Ten. the SEC is just too tough to compete in day in and day out. The Big Ten you get about 5, 6 freebies every year; Indiana, Minnesota, Purdue, Northwestern, Michigan
