Amazing how some will marginalize an unbelievably serious criminal act just because no one got "hurt."

I honestly think that it must be "some" human's nature to want a feel good story we can all get happy warm feelings with to make our day feel better or something. I don't personally need that I guess.
Nice we have so many eternal optimists on the board though

Agreed.
I've, too, known people that managed to completely give up a bad lifestyle ( addiction, theft, etc) and become worthy of respect. Not many bad guys hit rock bottom, but those who really do will find the power to turn their lives around.
p.s. Steveo, maybe you should put on a pair of 3D glasses.

I just saw his mom on tv. 90 years old. She said SHE is skeptical that he can turn himself around. That he is weak and not a strong person like her. She blamed other people and his friends. She was happy too though, hoping he can and that she's living to see it. I really think this is way more complicated than some cool feel good story. He's being exploited now. Too famous. And it's not going to help him I dont think. We'll see, but people don't change just because someone plucked them off the street. It comes from within. Our media never ceases to amaze and annoy meSaint John wrote:This story just keeps getting better. This dirt bag has nine kids.
She started off pretty good, but then fell into typical codependent mode blaming other people and his friends!! ...M~M~M ...not a good sign!! *shaking head emoticon which doesn't exist here*StevePerryHair wrote:I just saw his mom on tv. 90 years old. As annoyed as this makes me, boycotting kraft isn't really something very easy. They own a LOT of food and other food companies, things you'd never even imagine. It wouldn't be easy to truly boycott them.Saint John wrote:Well, it looks like Teddy Dirtball has been hired by Kraft Foods to do commercials for Macaroni and Cheese. I am officially boycotting Kraft products. No way would anyone ever think of hiring a guy with a 20 year rap sheet. "Ted, minus the stellar rap sheet, the lack of W-2's and the incredible stench coming out of virtually every pore in your body, what makes you the ideal candidate for this job?" This is very disturbing. Compromising corporate ethics (if there is such a thing!) to sign the Johnny-Come-Lately in the sensationalized world of "reality" garbage. I really hope he robs and/or attacks someone. Preferably the person that hired him.
