The girl singing this imho shares a something in common with everyone's favorite singer in his earlier days........ She never appears to strain, has massive range, insane power, perfect pitch etc. Watch this and prepare for chills. I love the girl we have in our floyd group and she does a great version but this is just fucking unreal... They really lucked out finding this kind of voice.

Technical skills aside, her voice had zero depth and conveyed no feeling at all. At least with the early Perry albums, though I didn't like all those silly, feminine stratospheric notes, I did feel some emotion in his voice. Her's was devoid of that. No interest in her or that song at all. Yuck.

We must be from different planets man ! NO emotion ? Huh ?!? What ?!?!?! Uh.... I guess we are all moved in a different way. I found it VERY moving and if you dont know the song she was singing you must not have much interest in Pink Floyd as that tune is on Dark Side OF THE FUCKING MOON ! Surprised you never heard it. It think it has some of the most moving chord changes of any song I have ever heard. The original is unbeatable of course.

Someone should tell these singer wannabees that you don't have to prolong every last note/syllable....
