One of the mos amazing live vocal performances..

I figured you guys might dig this. This is a the Aussie Pink Floyd act doing great gig in the sky. The girl singing this imho shares a something in common with everyone's favorite singer in his earlier days........ She never appears to strain, has massive range, insane power, perfect pitch etc. Watch this and prepare for chills. I love the girl we have in our floyd group and she does a great version but this is just fucking unreal... They really lucked out finding this kind of voice.

I had to turn it off at the 2:26 mark. Granted, I'm not familiar with the original at all and not even sure I've ever heard it, but that sounded terrible to me. Technical skills aside, her voice had zero depth and conveyed no feeling at all. At least with the early Perry albums, though I didn't like all those silly, feminine stratospheric notes, I did feel some emotion in his voice. Her's was devoid of that. No interest in her or that song at all. Yuck.

Great voice. Doesn't know how to use it. All those adlib runs ruin it....

Someone should tell these singer wannabees that you don't have to prolong every last note/syllable....

We must be from different planets man ! NO emotion ? Huh ?!? What ?!?!?! Uh.... I guess we are all moved in a different way. I found it VERY moving and if you dont know the song she was singing you must not have much interest in Pink Floyd as that tune is on Dark Side OF THE FUCKING MOON ! Surprised you never heard it. It think it has some of the most moving chord changes of any song I have ever heard. The original is unbeatable of course.

If you think mentioning DARK SIDE OF THE FUCKING MOON, is gonna change Saint John's mind about an average performance, then you DONT FUCKING KNOW SAINT JOHN!

Yeah, I hate Pink Floyd and think they suck dinosaur cock. The only songs I have ever found tolerable by them are Have A Cigar and Wish You Were Here.

I've just been working with the Aussie Pink Floyd, photographing their rehearsals etc, and including their first show of the current 60 plus date European tour, in Poland, a couple of weeks ago. Bianca, the girl in that Youtube, does have an incredible voice. The Youtube audio doesn't come close to reproducing the quality of her voice live - it does certainly have depth and emotion, and makes your spine tingle when you hear it live.

The Aussie Pink Floyd are not like other tribute acts. Having sold three MILLION tickets so far and with an average audience of 3,000 plus, they are a big act. They have nearly 30 people on the crew for their tour, and the show includes a massive lighting rig, lasers, huge inflatable characters and 3D projection (the audience are all provided with 3D glasses to watch the show).

At the rehearsals in London, a member of Pink Floyd came along to watch the show, and in the past they've even been booked by Dave Gilmour to play at a birthday bash he organised.
