"In the shadow of love
Time goes by leaving me helpless
Just to reach and try
To live my life
These are my reasons"
It always bothered me why the line at the end didn't go "These are my reasons why...." if only to add that poetic touch and give it a rhyme. Just kind of bothers me and I expect a little more before the chorus starts.
Is there any lyric, music or song related to Journey that you have a pet peeve about?

Loved Hardline.
But I think Journey's chance at doing anything heavy was lost when they dumped JSS. HE would have been the most awesome way they could have transitioned themselves that direction while still keeping true to Journey, given Journey's great influence on him as a singer. But now, hearing anything 'heavy' from them I doubt will ever happen. I'll be happy to eat my words if their next album proves me wrong though, and isn't the sugar-fest that is Revelation.

Get them some bumble bee gear and the 'New' Journey could be Stryper 2.0

Dumping JSS was a stupid idea in my opinion, they could have opened a door to a whole new group of fans. I saw them in Buffalo with Def Leppard and JSS blew everybody out of the water hands down.

We did ILAA, so we had the second row maybe? I can't remember! Maybe Melissa remembers!Seems like forever ago now! It was fun though! We wanted to see them again with JSS and ILAA, since we were far away in Tampa, and Buffalo was the cheapest ILAA and flight we could find. I grew up in Erie, so Buffalo was a place I'm familiar with too!

I was going to college in Erie at the time and I still remember that long long drive up I-90 and back.

I agree with this. I used to like the song until I realized he was saying "Hot jelly roll love". I wasn't able to listen to it afterwards.![]()

Sounds like one of my romps with a fat broad. One chick was so fucking big I that tried to hang myself with her belt in the morning, but I would have needed about a 6 story building to make it work.
