Thanks, and wow... I didn't realize there was any more than Vina Del Mar in 2008! Was one a private gig, and which venue did they cancel? I don't think there is a second gig this time, or not back-to-back anyway. If I find out about one, you know how that goes...

In 2008, there were 3 Chile venues but one got cancelled. I am guessing there will be at least one more venue.

Remember, he got paid up front for the Revelation Album and Tour, so that seven bucks a disc and 690,000 tickets sold, the rest of the band was getting to dip into probably wasn't something he got to enjoy. Even last year, he told the RP media that he was getting paid up front for his services so despite them saying he's a full fledged member, maybe that doesn't really kick in until this album and tour.
I'm sure he has made more money than he will ever need to enjoy retirement in the Philippines for the rest of his life.
Speaking of, did you see the drink prices for his club? Definitely not for the average Filipino, it looks like he is catering to a crowd that is more affluent than the ones he grew up with. It's to be expected though, in the end everyone likes money and you can't just eat continuously on the character traits of being a sweet and humble guy.

I think the domestic beer is around 80p (When I was there last, you could usually get it during happy hour for about 25p). If you are into the local beer San Miguel, you'll be alright money wise but for a local, after four beers, he's out a day's salary already.

San Miguel is actually pretty good beer. If you wanna get hosed a bit faster try Red Horse. I think it's their equivalent of Natural Ice.

Made some great friends with some awfully nice people. I have attended 2 Manny Pacquiao PPV events, a Plokker dinner and a well attended celebration of Arnel's birthday (with Tito). I can honestly say that every single party was top notch, from the beer to the food, to the hospitality of the folks. There were also some less formal events like a casino trip and a kick ass time at The Dragonfly restaurant and nightclub in China Town. That was a wild night!
