I got a feeling though that Gay Dave and Toothless Eddie are still the bigger draw If they ever decided to go back out on the road.

Doing a tell all dirty laundry book is a bit high school. If your personalities don't mesh, move on, but let the fans love their rock idols without you marring their image of them. If both parties do the same it becomes more like two high school girls trashing each other on facebook. Turns most people off in all reality, and it is not a great reflection on yourself, you just come across as bitter.

The sign they used to have on their trailer door is just fucking classic.

I was waiting for that one to show up. LOL!!! (Trust Steveo) Chickenfoot is working on a new album in a studio apparently right down the road. I'm bettin' Sammy's not the only person to show up at their rehearsals
BTW Steveo did you see Sammy's comments on the VH1 Hard Rock Songs. I think he and Neal have been firends forever!!!

Didn't see it Val, but it would not surprise me that Neal and Sammy are friends. They're both good rockers.

The 2 Van Halen brothers exude trash and David Lee Roth is a shit vocalist, an even bigger goof and a few dollars away from being a circus carnie. The early Van Halen sound was tremendous. It was ground breaking, fresh and had some revolutionary guitar on it. But Roth's vocals were nothing more than a needed voice to be able to themselves a "band." The Hagar years, while not as technically ground breaking, brought in better vocals, instant chart topping success and the band finally had some class. Sammy and Mike are better off without them and while I'm not a huge Chickenfoot fan, I think I might be checking them out this summer ... possible more than once.

Agreed. Have always liked Hagar era VH so much better.
Have only seen Chickenfoot once live, and they were awesome live. I know some don't like the album much, and I too wasn't a huge fan of it, lol, but those songs live come across great. Sammy is just one of the greatest frontmen, Chad Smith is a monster drummer (I remember Gayle saying he was "obscene", that's how good), and then of course Satriani ---> awesome, lol. They are great to see live!

Seems like a heck of a guy? How could you possibly know this? Hell, I could say the same about Dave & Eddie, and Alex, they just don't go airing their dirty laundry in public, like sideshow Bob. A shit vocalist? Your kidding right? It's not always about the vocals, it's fronting a band and their image. Granted, Roth can't hit high notes, but the songs weren't about that. At least Roth sounds like a man and more importantly, acted like one. It's funny how sideshow Bob "Stoled" the
drinking routine onstage from Roth. You know what they say though, "Always imitate the behavior of winners when you lose".

Killer video. Sammy's a bad motherfucker, when I grow up I'd like to be just like him.![]()
David Lee is nothing but a egomaniac poser, he would be a nobody if Ed and Al hadn't chose him, the guitar made that band and DLR was just along for the ride.

Probably pretty hard to do when you stand to lose more than gain in a shit tossing contest. Besides, Sammy hasn't dropped any bombshells. All of this stuff that has been mentioned is just more specific details about already known stuff. Those 3 clowns don't have any fucking friends and don't even get along with each other!

I can agree with you to a certain extent here. However, he ws all image and virtually no vocals. There were some cool studio shrieks and other wizardry that made some of the vocals come off as difficult, but there isn't a live show known to man where Roth is going to impress any of his peers.
