lol ... the rule is put in place as a control measure. Religions recognize, and have for
thousands of years, that people are soft in the fucking head and easily manipulated, and there are various ways of recruiting these dopes. It's either a "chosen people," some ridiculous 2,000 year old book of fables that someone wrote, or some set of rules that fool people into believing that they're living as God "wants" them to. Listen, assholes, if God "wanted" you to live a certain way, I'm quite sure he'd tell you him/herself. Unless, of course, he has T-Mobile.
Hey, how about this ... simply live your life and be a good person. Be guided by universal truths like kindness, love, justice and sharing, and make up your
own rules. Practical rules .... rules that show you're a fucking leader and not a follower. Religion and its rules, especially organized garbage like being a fucking blue-balled male or cobwebbed-vag female Mormom, is an embarrassment to one's self. While there are far worse hobbies and wastes of time, there are also far better ones. Think for
yourselves and be guided by your spirit, conscience and soul. But I guess that's just too much to ask of some people. They need everything spelled out for them. And that's okay, too, in some (albeit very few) instances.
