JourneyHard wrote:Journey USA 2011 Set List
1. Separate Ways: This would get everybody excited from the start.
2. Any Way You Want It: I know Jon loves Only The Young, but we don't have room for it.
3. Stone In Love: This would give a good chance to segue into the next song, the first off of Eclipse.
4. Chain Of Love: The piano at the start will make people think this is a ballad and then when it rocks out it will bring down the house.
5. Wheel In The Sky: We gotta keep rock'n.
6. Edge Of The Blade: This would give a good segue into the next song, the second off of Eclipse.
7. Edge Of The Moment: This rocks. This should be a Journey concert staple from now on and forever.
8. Lov'n, Touch'n, Squeez'n: This one segues into the next song from Evolution.
9. City Of The Angels: This would make the concert so fresh. This can segue into the next song, the third off of Eclipse.
10. City Of Hope: This is awesome.
11. Faithfully: This is a good time for a ballad.
12. Mystery Mountain: This reaches back to the early days of Journey. Also, this segues into the next song, the Fourth off of Eclipse.
13. She's A Mystery: The end of this song leaves the possibility open for an even longer extended Neal guitar jam in concert.
14. Escape: This rocks and would make a good fit right here.
15. Resonate: The fifth song off of Eclipse.
16. Lights: Everybody knows this song word for word and can sing along.
17. Don't Stop Believ'n: Everybody knows this song and can sing along.
18. Open Arms/ Venus: Tack on Venus at the end of Open Arms for a nice end of the concert jam!
Encore: If time for an encore, maybe Only The Young and Be Good To Yourself, but if not, it is okay.
If this is the Journey with Combat boots on tour, dump 8,9,10, 12 and 13 (She's A Mystery takes to long to get going if you have to listen to it live).
Add One More, Keep On Runnin', Message Of Love, The Time and World Gone Wild.
At what point do they shoehorn Tantra into the setlist? On Arnel's Birthday?
