Don't get me wrong, he was still a team player, as usual,
and did his part by doing interviews to promote the CD, etc.
But, he said from the get go, this was Neal's CD. Hence, he
knew what was coming and removed himself from the blame and
put it right at the feet of Neal. Smart move.

Don't get me wrong, because I don't think JC is an idiot ...
but what I do think, is that these so called team players
are always very quick to point fingers and make
claims that they were just being cooperative team players ..."he
(point, point) had the ball and he (point, point) was running w/
it ...I just showed up and played my part".
JC made sure to promote so he could make sure the public
knew ...mmhmmm ...it's a very selfish act, imo, without a hint
of TEAM mentality!!

When was this....cuz it sounds like it was before Eclipse and during the Revelation tour.

Someone has to. I saw Cain tweeting about Eclipse being #14 in the UK. Dude, WTF? it's at #33. These guys seem to be in their own world as far as what is going on with sales. Maybe they aren't even aware of what happened with the promo here or the low sales.
You don't just take off the year when your popularity is at super high (2010) to have your next album tank.

I'm still looking for COH and this fabled Rock Radio chart that Neal was over the moon about.

Maybe the should concentrate on releasing some more classic concert DVDs instead of new material.

#17 and below on that chart equates to less than a thousand DVDs a week.![]()
Sony has all those older videos in the vault, it's their call if they get released or not and even then, certain members have to okay it. Neal's not gonna go for that. He still hopes to have people saying "Perry who?" one of these days.

Don wrote:Wal-Mart is bleeding right now with all three of these releases flopping, especially seeing as two of them were three disc sets.
The Marx album never even cracked the Billboard 200.
Just checked. Eclipse is at #7 on Wal-Mart's best seller list, behind both of the other ones I just mentioned.
On iTunes and Amazon, it's out of the top 100.
The U.S. tour ain't going to save it.
This isn't catching Arrival (Yes, that's what I said. Arrival).
Good news on the other side of Journey's retail coin though. The Greatest Hits is back in iTunes Top 100 and at #95 on Billboard.

What are you talking about? Neal didn't have a problem with the Houston DVD. He would gladly accept another paycheck for doing absolutely nothing.
I think it is Sony who doesn't believe there is a large enough market...Or, Perry doesn't want anything else releasede on video...which he has always been against.
