Towards the end of their set, people started to loosen up a bit. Even after the sun went down, it was hot. Arnel had sweat pooring off him like it was water. Despite the heat, they both put on a good concert.

You are crazy! One of their top 5 of all time.

It was a GREAT show. My 12 year-old son and I had an awesome time in the 5th row, dead center. Luckily Joey had an empty seat in front of him - He stood on his seat for almost the entire show!

The videos sound like at least a half step down, ask the lonely sounds like a full step.
Gideon wrote:'Escape' is a pretty good tune, but I'm not following Neal's thought process here: It's not exactly a crowd-favorite or one of their biggest hits, so why throw it into the set when you could be promoting the badass songs (like 'Resonate') from your "new Frontiers"?
Neal, if you're reading, I'm beginning to lose my faith in your ability to think rationally. Get your head out of your ass, ditch 'Escape', and toss in 'Resonate'.
Gideon wrote:Pretty decent videos; crowd movement is pretty limited, but that's to be expected with the reported heat. Why they play 'Only the Young' with the cheesy pre-recorded synthesizers I'll never know.

But that's only because Revelation has Greatest Hits on it. Regardless of the fact, the real Greatest Hits is outselling them all (and charting I believe). That's how loyal their fans are, they buy the greatest hits twice.

Journey's Greatest Hits continuously sells at least 3,000 weekly and even Escape has moved 3,000 or more units over the last few weeks.

Maybe 500 a week. It just started selling with the U.S leg of the tour. Good news for Jeremy I would think. Maybe not a lot of money but cash is cash. I would take it in a heartbeat, that's for sure.

So are you saying eclipse is selling 250 copies?

Well, I'll break it down a bit. Judging by the average for the last 12 months, you need to sell at least 3,000 records to get on Billboard's chart. On Wal-Mart's onw instore chart, really anything out of the top ten won't be on Billboard.
Twice this week, Eclipse has been completely off the Wal-Mart chart and in the 90s the other days. By comparison, Revelation has been in the mid 30s more or less this week, Foreigner in the 70s, The Manila DVD in the 20s and 30s and so on and so on.
I asked a manager in the Electronics area about the store chart and he said, if an albums not on that chart, it means it moving less than 100 copies usually. Now, I'm not sure the guy's word can be taken as gospel but for an album that isn't exclusive to the store, it doesn't mean much as other distributors might have bigger inventory but for a Wal-Mart exclusive, it's not good.
