Not feeling it from Foreigner, at all. If they're blowing Journey off the stage, they better do better than this.

How does this work? Are we hearing it right off of a sound board? I am just clueless about such things! It seems like this is WAY less forgiving than what we'd hear there in the audience I bet! I can remember people complaining about soundboard tapes of JSS singing Journey, but when we were there live watching, we didn't hear it that way at all!!

yea, it's going to have to be a soundboard line right out to the radio truck. The fact that you get little if any audience bleed-over pretty much confirms it.

Soundboard isn't exactly what the audience hears, but it is VERY close. You may lose a bit of reverb on the vocals and flattening of the sound occasionally.. You also lose the electric atmosphere of the crowd most of the time, as you would need specific mics to pick up the audience to get that.

The other point is that what you hear near the stage and what you hear out on the lawn are totally different. I often find I need earplugs just to get a decent vocal mix near the stage.

Well they sound good performance wise (To my ears), but the audio mix really sounds completely unproduced, flat.

It's not that, it's Hansen. He's going to have to do better to make me like this.

Turn it up louder..

He did great on Dirty White Boy. Kudos on that one.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

I just started listening during Dirty White Boy and the audio doesn't sound bad . The singer for Foreigner sounds pretty good to me.

I am 1 mile from there...wife went with her BFF who just won tickets today on the radio, I refused to pay the asking price for a decent seat, I don't do lawns very well. And shit, here it is live in my family room, bath on the right, fridge straight ahead and play by play on MR. What more could a guy want? (hoping "Dirty White Boy got Mama hot!)

Oh BFF. I thought you said BF earlier. My apologies. Honest mistake. ;)

You have to remember that Hansen runs all over the stage and even into the audience at times! He is VERY active on stage from what I can remember! I'm thinking all that running around in the heat could affect live vocals slightly? Urgent sounds fine to me too! I enjoyed him when I saw them last! He's very energetic and an entertaining front man!

This is probably what Hansen and Jones are hearing their ear monitors..

West Clermont HSt Choir is about 5/6 miles away...kudo to them..

That's cool that they use a local choir! Love that!! The tempo was a little fast for that for me, but I get it's live and they have to keep it going. LOVE that song though, so much!

The radio station is posted pictures on their Facebook page!

Sounds pretty decent to me, but you really need the visuals for a live concert. Sounds like Hanson just headed for the audience in Hot Blooded.

Foreigner does sound great, but no matter what Journey sounds like, they're not blowing anyone off the stage, as some have said.

When I saw them Saturday, Foreigner was great and so was Journey. The only comments I've heard is Foreigner sticks to the hits while Journey is throwing in new music. Apparently some people only want to hear hits!
