You disappoint me dude. For years, you were one of the few people on this board who didn't make excuses. Listen, injuries are part of football. Always have been and always will be. The Patriots just lost their best defensive player (Jerod Mayo)for at least the next 6 weeks, but life goes on. The reality is ...The Rapist has been fucking AWFUL this season, the offensive line, notwithstanding. I saw Dan Marino play behind some awful offensive lines, and yet, he still ALWAYS sensed the pressure and got rid of the damn ball. I know it's easier for you to blame EVERYTHING that ails the Steelers on the O-Line, but that's the pussy way out. Ben has more fumbles (4) and more interceptions (5) than he has TD's (3) this season, and he is absolutely accountable for some of it. If guys get hurt, it's time for other guys to step up and play! I will tell you that Pittsburgh's play isn't a surprise to some. I actually heard several football writers say that "Pittsburgh is done", in the off-season. I personally didn't believe it at the time, and still don't. Simply making the point that they have some old guys on that team, so a dropoff wasn't a shock to some.
Dude, I'm making NO excuse. Read and comprehend my whole post rather than picking out the one where you want to reply and start an argument with. Just telling it like it is. I just said above
If we limit the mistakes/turnovers/sacks and actually get going on offense, we could bounce back quick and take pressure off the D. We'll see. I think Tennessee has a good team. Can't say the same for the Steelers right now.
The Steelers are a beat up football team and playing like a beat up football team. I'm well aware of that. What part of "the Steelers aren't a good football team" something I've said NUMEROUS times, time and time again does it make it sound like an excuse?
They are a BAD football team for a reason, like the things mentioned above! It's no excuse dude, it's the god damn truth! Not one time did I make an excuse about the Steelers and blame it on just the offensive line. The o-line is a HUGE part in why the offense can't gain a yard and the defense isn't helping out any! Obviously, the whole team is in disarray. Look at the defensive line. The run-defense is giving up a huge amount of yardage, something that's very rare and are getting absolutely DESTROYED one on one. They are losing their battles even when they are in position. Oh wait, I must be making an excuse for pulling out the obvious!
Difference is, you say "injuries are apart of the game, someone needs to step up!" But look closer. Guys have been stepping up. They are running out of men! lmao. No excuse, just pretty much stating the obvious on HOW we are bad. Taking the "pussy way out" is blaming the ref's for every single play that happened to go against your team that could have "won the team the game" and claiming everything is "fixed." THAT'S the pussy way out, not pointing out what's actually WRONG with your team. Try again.
